"A lot of times my patients will come to me and they're like listen I've tried CeraVe, I've tried Cetaphil, those are great but give me something different and that's when I will recommend the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Balm AP. This is a super rich nourishing moisturizer and I just find that so many people love it. This is just a very effective moisturizer, it's kind of cosmetically elegant so it's a joy to put on. You could use it in little babies, you can use it in adults, so it's also incredibly versatile. When my son has some signs of dry skin this is certainly one that I don't feel any hesitation towards reaching for because it just has very gentle ingredients that are good for all skin types but also of course and probably most importantly it's very effective."

"My favorite is absolutely the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Balm AP+. I have one upstairs in my dresser, I have one by my front door, I have one in my drawer in my office, and one in my other drawer in my office. It's like my go-to. It has a lot of beneficial ingredients in it. I really personally like this one for my body, but I use it on both your body and your face. When I'm in the winter and the wind burn really starts to get me, then I move it up to my face as well. It's got shea butter and the La Roche-Posay prebiotic thermal water in it. It's fragrance free and it's been tested for comedogenicity. It also has niacinamide. The thing that makes this nice is it's a heavier moisturizer, but it's not like the heaviest moisturizer. It's thick but then it also has like a medium blend, and I think most people are going to tolerate this really well. This is definitely something worth it if you have dry skin or if you have dry skin on the body. It's accepted by the National Eczema Association."
Top Pick: moisturizer for very dry skin
