It's got kojic acid which is helpful for dark spots, kojic acid is also a chelator so it'll help potentially minimize the reaction of iron to form free radicals upon exposure to environmental stressors, and those free radicals are what can aggravate acne as well as drive more stubborn hyperpigmentation."

"La Roche-Posay Glycolic B5 Serum is part of the chemical exfoliants category. If you're going to be using a glycolic acid, you do not need to use this serum on top of another glycolic product because it's the same ingredient. It does smell a little strong, but La Roche-Posay is one of those brands that I really do stand by. I think that they are great."
