"La Roche Posay's Double Repair Matte Moisturizer has been the year of matte. What I was looking for in a moisturizer was something that would be fairly lightweight, would moisturize, have wonderful hydrating ingredients, but also oil-absorbing, and this just nailed it. I recommend this all the time for people with oily or acne-prone skin. It still brings hydration, still protects the skin barrier, but it just absorbs that oil. It has ceramides and niacinamide to help regulate oil production, plus perlite and silica which are oil-absorbing molecules. When you apply it, it feels great, spreads well, it dries matte, and is just overall very hydrating despite the fact that it doesn't leave you with that very dewy look. I think it leaves you neutral. For someone with normal skin, I think you'd still enjoy this. I've been loving this product and recommending it for the whole entire year."
