"It's called Anthelios UVMune 400, the creme. It comes in a little square bottle. It will not actually be in stores until later this year as it's just been approved in Australia, but I'm very excited because I have been using it and I love it and I'm just happy to have something in that long UVA range and I will keep using it because it's got such good protection. Yeah, it's one of my favorite sunscreens. I always buy it when I'm in Europe."

"This is La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400. UVMune 400 is an ingredient in the sunscreen that took ten years in the making, it's a new filter that helps block the longer wavelengths of UVA that penetrate really deeply, which contributes to accelerated skin aging, destruction of collagen, and sets the stage for skin cancers, so this is a really novel ingredient from La Roche-Posay. It's also got a lot of the other classic filters, and it's free of fragrance. The other thing I really like about this product is that it's super moisturizing, not greasy or anything, it's just a very nice moisturizer. I didn't have any issue with this running into my eyes causing that blurry vision thing. I really enjoy this product, and I've got the fluid version too, I've started using it off and on and I really like it."

"I filmed the best sunscreens of 2022, and the UVmune from La Roche-Posay, that ingredient, it's amazing. I'm really excited about that filter. I think that's one of the most sophisticated sunscreens I've come across at this juncture."
Vlog: MORNING SKIN CARE ROUTINE 😍 HOUSTON WATER WALL⛲ @DrDrayzday
"I've been using the La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 a lot this week and I really like this product. It's a newer sunscreen and the filter is unique in that it blocks and protects from long wave UVA, the rays that penetrate the skin pretty deeply. I've been using the cream, I also have the fluid, but honestly I haven't been using the fluid as much, I've just really been enjoying the cream. Personally I find it moisturizing and I'm able to tolerate it around my eyes."

What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

Sunscreen filters

Sun protection is the best evidenced way to slow visible ageing, and the filters are what does the work. Mineral and chemical filters both protect when a product is applied thickly enough and often enough, which is where most people fall short rather than on the choice of filter.
