"As soon as I opened this product, I noted that it had a smell of alcohol. Alcohol is fourth on the ingredient list. It's something that helps a product dry down and adhere to the skin, but for me it's a little bit sensitizing. For coverage I gave it a three out of five. It's really highly pigmented, especially when it dries down. It's a little bit too pigmented for me for a skin tint. The finish I gave it a three out of five. It's radiant when it first goes on, but then it kind of dries down and looks a little bit more satin or matte finish on my skin. The texture I gave a four out of five. It's lightweight, it's easy to blend, and it feels very breathable on the skin. Skincare ingredients I gave a two out of five. Everything has hyaluronic acid in it, and that may or may not be a plus for some people depending on your environment. If you're in a humid environment that might be great, but if you're in a dry environment like I am, having a lot of hyaluronic acid in a formula can be somewhat drying. It dries down a little bit more than expected compared to the initial application, probably because of the alcohol in it and the hyaluronic acid, especially in my case because I'm in a really dry environment."

"This one is actually fascinating. You would think it was the budget option because at checkout it's about half the price of the IT Cosmetics, but ounce for ounce it comes out almost exactly the same, about $53 per ounce compared to about $54 per ounce for the Do It All Balm. It does come with a little puff applicator, but I still prefer applying it with a brush. It actually has more skincare ingredients than the Do It All Balm. I expected it to be a little bit more hydrating, it is hydrating, but it doesn't have that dewy finish, it's a little bit more matte. It leaves a beautiful finish on the skin, it slightly covers up my imperfections and it feels a little lighter on the skin. The L'Oreal Balm is that perfect in between, a slight budget buy. If you've never tried a balm before, I think this is the one you should probably try, and if you have normal skin and want a little bit of coverage without a lot of glow, this is the one I'd recommend. For my personal favorite, it's the L'Oreal Balm. It gives me enough coverage, it's not too dewy, it doesn't give me that overglow feel that sometimes I can get in these warmer months."

It's one of those products that really stands out in my entire makeup collection, not just from the drugstore. It's something that I will forever repurchase. The one con is the packaging."

"The color looks really good. I feel like it's giving pretty sheer coverage. It's definitely lightweight and serum, it looks pretty on the skin, it doesn't look like makeup sitting on the surface. Well it goes on beautifully with both, I'm definitely getting more coverage on the brush side than on the sponge side so depending on how you like to wear your foundation you could wear this sheerer for more of a natural look. This looks so skin like and so beautiful. It's a lot more natural looking than the original True Match which can be a little makeupy and a little heavy. However, it does have denatured alcohol which is third on the ingredient list, so if you have super dry skin you may want to stay away from this one. If you have normal, combo, or oily skin it could be fine. But I still think it's a good foundation and I love the finish on it."

"The original L'Oreal True Match is one of my holy grail foundations. This one is just kind of a lighter version of it and I love this one so much too. If I had done a full foundation friday on it, it would probably be in my top five as a holy grail. It might even knock out the original True Match because I feel like I do like this one so much better. It's just a little bit lighter and a little bit sheerer on the skin. Again, it makes my fifty-nine year old skin look a lot better than it actually is. It's a very lightweight serum foundation. It comes with a dropper, so that's how nice and lightweight and fluid it is."

"This is the newer more lightweight more skin-like looking version of the original True Match foundation. This one is called a tinted serum and they put it in a dropper bottle. I actually don't love this dropper bottle and I wish that they would repackage this with a simple pump because it gets really messy. However, I've only had this for about six or eight months and I've already gone through half a bottle of it, which shows you how often I reach for this and how much I love this. This is around the ten to twelve dollar price point and offers light to medium coverage. It has one percent hyaluronic acid in it which is supposed to be hydrating. This does contain SD alcohol that is number four on the ingredient list, so if you have super dry skin I wouldn't really recommend this for you. But since it does have the hyaluronic acid and a few other hydrating ingredients, I feel like they could offset the drying SD alcohol. I've tested this and it wears so well throughout the day. I got ten solid hours of wear out of this without using a primer. This one is not finicky either and works with lots of different sunscreens underneath. I get about the same amount of settling into wrinkles as the original True Match, which is to say not very much. This is longer wearing than the original True Match and is a really great foundation for mature skin."
