What the gurus are saying

The retinol palmitate and Centella combination earns praise for being gentle enough to use on the neck and chest, delivering a non-greasy, moisturizing feel without stickiness. Those new to retinol or with sensitive skin may find this gentler version worth trying with consistency. The moisturizing power is undeniable, though the cruelty-free issue is a dealbreaker for some.

"I like it because it's extremely lightweight but it's comfortable. It's actually perfect for the summer months but I can see this being great for all seasons including the winter months because it just has that nice formulation that really nourishes the skin. So if you put this on at night and you wake up in the morning your skin still feels really nice and it almost gives this nice glow to your skin when you're consistent with it. Over the last several weeks I've noticed that my skin just looks softer, it looks a little bit brighter. This is a lovely option and I also like that there's Centella asiatica as well. Centella asiatica is great for anti-aging as well but it helps to moisturize the skin and I really love this ingredient. You find this a lot in K Beauty but you're starting to see it more even in drugstore skincare products as well. If you're looking for something that is from the L'Oreal brand and you know you're a fan of the Revitalift line then I feel like you're going to really like this. You are getting 50 mL of product. This is also fragrance free. There is a fragrance option I do believe but I wanted to pick up the fragrance free because I know most people want that option and I wanted to put that to the test as well because sometimes formulations change a little bit when there's perfume involved but this one is actually really nice."

"If you're in the market for a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid instead of a serum, try the L'Oréal Revitalift moisturizer, it's nice. It highlights hyaluronic acid and ceramide to help the moisture barrier, and it also has niacinamide, which is good for redness and has anti-aging benefits as an antioxidant."

"Aging is a privilege and being able to afford this product is a privilege because it's $21 and if this works for Lucy's skin I'm happy. I know a lot of people have said this is a powerful moisturizer and it is good, but it's not cruelty free so you know it doesn't really get my coin, it doesn't get my money. But if you want to keep using that, Lucy, go for it."
