"My favorite glycolic acid serum is by L'Oréal. It's their ten percent glycolic acid in their Vitalift Germ Intensives line. This one retails for twenty-eight dollars. It has no brightening effects—it's literally just pretty much glycolic acid in a glycerin base, and it has no smell, so a little bit goes a long, long way. I usually use it just at night. It has a little bit of a chewiness to it, but you feel that instant hydration. Use it at night because it does make you more sun sensitive, so make sure in the morning you're following it up with sunscreen."

"This L'Oréal Revitalift is a ten percent glycolic acid, it is a good exfoliant and this is what I would have loved to see outside of the washcloth, but do I love this one not a ton. The ingredients have some moisturizing components like aloe and sodium hyaluronate, but overall it's not my favorite and it's not cruelty free and I find that for thirty dollars you can get other things that work very well if not extraordinarily comparably."
