"This cushion foundation gives soft matte coverage that feels weightless, which I really like considering my skin type. The finish looks very soft, and it smoothed things out nicely without looking overly matte or dry. The coverage is really nice and seems relatively buildable. I really really love the finish, I'm very happy with my base, it looks beautiful and feels really comfy. But it's the age-old struggle of getting a foundation light enough that's actually my undertone. This one is definitely not light enough and reads orangey yellowy on my skin, so the neutral shade is a bit better than the others but I still don't have a color match for this beautiful finish."

"This is the L'Oreal Infallible Cushion Foundation, received in PR, exclusive to Ulta, $19.99, in 20 shades, promising filter-like skin with up to 24-hour wear, a soft matte finish, and waterproof, transfer resistant, sweat resistant wear. The shades sent ran warmer and more yellow than labeled (marketed as neutral but pulling warm), so the undertone was off for her cool-toned skin and she plans to buy a different, lighter cool-toned shade. Application with the cushion puff gave lightweight but good coverage, felt fresh, and helped her not overapply. She doesn't find cushion foundations as quick to apply as pumping foundation onto a sponge. After 10 to 11 hours including sweating outside in the heat, it held up really nicely, looked high-end, and she didn't need to touch up with powder. She wouldn't call the finish full matte, more of a natural skin-like finish. She thinks it's a really beautiful, luxurious-looking foundation and a great summer option for durable, skin-like wear, and recommends swatching shades in store since the undertones run warmer than labeled."
