"I typically have never been one to really enjoy cleansing oils. I find them to be pretty messy, not the most pleasant experience to use. But the Krave Beauty Makeup Rewind Transforming Jelly Oil Cleanser takes the cake. When I first got this, I truly thought it was going to be just like a normal gel water cleanser. But the second I started using it, I was immediately blown away by the experience because this is unlike any cleansing oil I have ever used, because of the consistency. Cleansing oils tend to be really runny and easily go down the back of your hands, your arms, kind of get everywhere. But this one has a viscosity that's a little bit thicker than your typical cleansing oil, making it really easy to get that satisfying oil application experience, to feel like you're using a traditional cleansing oil, but it's still viscous enough that as you're using it, it doesn't create a mess. I fell in love when I started using this. [...] I really love the simplicity of this formula as well. They primarily use upcycled grape seed oil as well as sunflower seed oil, both of which are great moisturizing oils. "This is incredible. It's not a cleansing balm, it's like a hybrid formula that's this jelly. It does such a good job of just breaking down any sunscreen and oil on the face so that the cleanser afterwards can just wipe it all away. "My favorite first cleansing product is actually one I only started using about two months ago and was immediately obsessed with, it's the Crave Beauty Makeup Rewind Transforming Jelly Oil Cleanser. This is so freaking good, I have no words for how good this product is. I was very hesitant to use this one because oil cleansers aren't always my thing, I don't love how messy they are, but I finally tried it and I've been using it daily, every single day for the past two months, and I'm just hooked on it, I can't stop using it. It is the perfect blend of the benefits of an oil cleanser with the benefits of a balm, it's so lightweight on the skin and really easy to spread across the surface of your skin, but it does an incredible job of breaking up all the extra oil and sunscreen that builds up because I have oily skin. It immediately breaks down all that oil on my skin, but it's so lightweight and effortless that it honestly doesn't feel like an oil or a balm, it feels like its own unique formulation that I have not seen before. I feel like it is truly innovative, not only in the ingredients it uses, it primarily utilizes upcycled grapeseed oil as well as sunflower seed oil and vitamin E, but the experience speaks for itself, and it's such a good price point for how much you're getting. I've used this every day for the past two months and I'm like halfway through the bottle."

"I like to do oil pulling which is where you massage an oil cleanser into the areas where you have blackheads and sebaceous filaments and it lifts them out. One of the best ways of decongesting the skin. I was always missing out because I just hate oil cleansers, then this came on the market and I thought, you know what, let's give it a try. It's actually a gel which then turns into an oil on the skin, so it doesn't have that oiliness that oil cleansers have. And it's also easier to use because it's not dripping all down your arm getting all over your clothes, and yet you still get that great oil cleanse. It's less runny in terms of its oil and it just works really, really well. I absolutely adore this, and this is probably the one product that's converted me to regular oil cleansing. Couple of times a week I'll work this into those areas where I do have those sebaceous filaments and blackheads, and it just works. It lifts them, it helps to eradicate them. I definitely find it doesn't strip and dry like some oil cleansers can. Even on my oily skin, I find that they leave my skin feeling like there's a film on there. Not with this. It rinses away to perfection."

"If you're someone that wants the benefits of a facial oil but you hate the idea and the texture of an oil, this is for you. This sinks into the skin absolutely seamlessly, and if you can see, it's like a milky emulsion. It contains all those oils that you would expect, but because it's in that milky emulsion it just sinks in. So if you've got oily skin and the idea of applying oil to it freaks you out, this would be great. If you're somebody that just wants a more lightweight facial oil, this is amazing. You work that in and it has the feel of a water-based serum but it has the benefits of an oil. I don't know how they do it, it's like magic, it's wizardry, but what they have done is phenomenal, and I think the fact it's so innovative, you don't really see this with any other brand, and it allows you to get the benefits of that oil in that water-based serum, I think makes this a standout product. What really tips it over into the 10 out of 10 category is the fact it actually contains five different peptides, so this can work as your peptide serum and your facial oil all in one. It's got some mimosa bark in here which is going to calm and soothe. So there's a lot going on in here and it's innovative and it's different, and for me it's another product that would be getting like 15 out of 10 if I could, but 10 out of 10, look, gone. It leaves behind the hydration you'd expect from an oil, you definitely get the benefits of it, but it doesn't feel heavy, occlusive, sticky. It's just beautiful, I absolutely love it. A lot of oils can come with slightly funky scents to them, not this, I'd say it's completely fragrance neutral."

"This is the Krave Beauty Makeup Rewind cleanser. The reason I love this is oil cleansers are great, they can break apart even really stubborn makeup and SPF. A lot of people like to start with an oil cleanse and then work onto a gel cleanser afterwards, which is a double cleanse. However, I am someone that's super messy, oil cleanses just get everywhere, they end up on your robes, they end up on your clothes, they run down the neck. I actually found this product which is a gel which transforms into an oil. So you apply it onto the skin and it doesn't budge, and then it turns into a beautiful oil. This way you get the precision of a gel or a cream cleanser but the benefits of an oil one. There are a couple of other products on the market that kind of do a similar thing, but I'd say this is the best. Super gentle, super effective. If you like an oil cleanser as your preferred cleansing option, go for this one."

"This is the Krave Beauty Makeup Rewind, which is a really great option if you're looking for an oil cleanser but in a gel form. None of the mess, none of that oil running down your arms. This goes on as a gel and it transforms into an oil on the skin. For messy people like me, and honestly I'm hideously messy with my skincare applications especially cleansers, this works really well and it's a great oil cleanse option that just removes everything for you. It's also quite cost-effective because you only need the tiniest amount, so I don't mind spending a little bit more to get this knowing that it'll last me literally forever. It's also great for traveling because you tend to wear more sunscreen, especially on beach holidays, and it won't leak like other oils potentially could. You've got that gel as just a little extra security."

It goes on as a gel then transforms to an oil on the skin, so if you're messy with your oils this could be a great way of getting around this. "Crave Beauty came out with this Makeup Rewind, a transforming jelly oil cleanser. I really liked this a lot, it's a thick, almost viscous consistency but it nicely emulsifies, it has a light hint of grape scent to it and it rinses off. This is very effective. This is one to try out if you are in the market for something different, they really did a good job with this one of a kind jelly oil cleanser."

"I've been using this for several months, it was gifted to me, and honestly I've continued to use it and I'm really impressed with it. It's a first step cleanser that's somewhere between a cleansing oil and a balm, a transforming jelly oil cleanser with sunflower oil and rose water. You put it on dry skin as the first step of a double cleanse. It has this oily slip but it's got a little bit of thickness to it, so it doesn't slip off your hand, and it breaks up the film of cosmetic residue really nicely, as well as any water resistant sunscreen. It helps remove eye makeup, mascara and eyeliner easily and gently. Krave Beauty really did a good job on this formula in terms of providing something innovative, it's not quite a cleansing oil, it's not quite a cleansing balm, but it does what you want it to do for a first step, and it helps reduce irritation and dryness from excessively harsh cleansing."

"Krave Beauty's Makeup Rewind is such a consistent part of my routine and daily life that sometimes I forget to talk about it. I love it because it's in between a cleansing balm and a cleansing oil, for when I can't be bothered with either. It's more like a jelly that instantly turns into an oil once you start gently massaging it onto the skin, and it clears away makeup and sunscreen very quickly without having to rub or massage too much. They use grapeseed oil, and sunflower seed oil, which is the oil that really breaks everything down, rich in barrier supporting linoleic acid, which they say helps prevent further irritation to the skin, and vitamin E. I love how easy it is to use and how convenient the packaging is, this jelly cleanser in a squeezy tube. The whole experience of it from start to finish is enjoyable, quick and easy, for when I just want a quick cleanse and go."

"I got to try it a fair bit pre-release, and it was really cool to see how they make this watery, oil consistency that I've never really used before. Which makes it so amazing for my combination skin. After this lab visit, I have a new respect for this product. It's two years in the making, especially with a consistency like this that goes from water serum to very light oil. You don't really appreciate how difficult that is to create until you hear how long it took to create it. It was cool to see all the raw ingredients and the actual process, because Oil La La is like a weird, super nice oil texture that kind of breaks. It's watery at first, and then you feel that coating of nice oil on top without being greasy and heavy."
