"It doesn't compare to the skin brightening effect of sorbic acid for me, but for some people that might be too irritating, so this will help and give you some of the benefits at least from some of the nice extracts and things like that, and it's a nice option for sensitive skin that doesn't handle sorbic acid well. For what this product promises, to hydrate, repair, brighten your skin, and gently absorb to the skin without any irritations, I would agree with most of that. It won't probably do much for most types of severe hyperpigmentation. It won't hurt, it will help brighten a little bit, but for very severe hyperpigmentation, stronger things are going to do better. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with using this in conjunction with other things that might help as well. For acne-prone skin, we've got two ingredients of note: glycerol and carbomer, so no issues with that. It's a very nice, decent, gentle option for some skin types. It'll work well for oily, dry, sensitive, and probably acne-prone skin as well. I wasn't blown away with it, but I was really happy with it. I really enjoy it. I'll definitely finish it."

"It's vegan as well as cruelty-free. In terms of the promises this one makes, so it promises to help hydrate, help repair, and help brighten the skin. I believe it helps on all those accounts. I will say my skin is so full of melasma and hyperpigmentation, especially on my forehead, and I didn't notice any brightening from this. However, for somebody with newer dark spots or hyperpigmentation, they're probably going to see some benefits from it. I've been working on mine now for a decade or so, and it's much better than it was, but it's still very bad. For newer hyperpigmentation, it's probably going to be much more beneficial than old, stubborn ones. In terms of the hydration, it's very nice. It feels more like a lotion. It's kind of tacky but not terribly so. It's a nice option for dry, sensitive, or oily skin. Even acne-prone skin types, I think, will be able to use this. For acne-prone skin, we have glycerol, steroid, and carbomer, so nothing too terrible for acne-prone skin."

"This has such a pleasing texture. In the summer I definitely get oily skin but I am still combination and I do still need some moisture to help balance out my skin, and so this creamy emulsion type texture is really one of my favorites because it's that little kiss of moisture that I really love. There's a hydrating effect like a little burst of hydration with this and a little bit of plumping that I really like. It just doesn't overwhelm the oily areas I've been getting. It helps plump it, it helps hydrate it, it addresses both areas in a lighter type of format, and so this is definitely really great for combination skin. We've got so many antioxidants in here which really helps to protect your skin. I've been really focusing in on them this summer to really help protect my skin but also that brightening benefit. I've been really into that as well, just been working on some hyperpigmentation after some breakouts and this has definitely been helping. I love that it's all in one, you know, multiple benefits in one product."
