What the gurus are saying

The experts who tried it found the scent genuinely delicious, opening with bright, spicy ginger and lemon before settling into roasted hazelnut and tonka bean warmth that feels rich without smelling overly baked-good-like. All three gurus loved it, though they flagged it as firmly a fall and winter scent, not for warmer months. One note: it's been a limited edition release, so availability may be spotty.

"The top notes are ginger, spicy and fresh with a zingy lemon quality. It opens the fragrance with lively brightness. Heart note is roasted hazelnut and unexpected crunchy note that intrigues with its green woody character. Base note is tonka bean. This bean has warm accents of vanilla and almond with a hint of tobacco. It adds tangible richness to the fragrance. I freaking love this. I do feel like this is very much a fall winter kind of scent to me. This one strongly feels like it needs to be in the fall and winter."

Forcing Myself to Wear ALL of My Perfumes 😩
"Ginger Biscuit from Jo Malone, yes, not for summer, but oh my god, I freaking love this scent. And it was limited edition. I wound up having to buy this from a UK retailer and have it sent over here because I missed it on Sephora and I was like, 'Oh my god I have to have it.'"

"I cannot believe how delicious this smells. At first I thought I wouldn't like it because sometimes I don't like to smell like a baked good, but this perfume smells so fresh and sophisticated and luxurious. I love a good vanilla and a good spice in my perfume, but I didn't want to smell too baked, and this really isn't. I love it so much and I understand the hype. It really is that good."
