What the gurus are saying

Gurus largely praise this sunscreen for its hydrating formula and rosacea-friendly profile, with minimal irritation and a drying finish that sheds initial shine. The onion extract and niacinamide draw attention for anti-inflammatory and potential scar-reducing properties. One reviewer found it unremarkable compared to existing options, citing the use of US-approved filters as unremarkable. Price-to-benefit ratio resonates as solid, though the formula skews shiny and hydrating rather than novel.

"It is a technically a hybrid sunscreen so it has organic commonly referred to as chemical sunscreen active ingredients and it also has titanium dioxide which is an inorganic otherwise known as mineral active sunscreen ingredient. The purple color helps neutralize discoloration. It does have titanium dioxide so there's a little hint of a white cast with this. It also has niacinamide which is good for redness hyperpigmentation it's anti-inflammatory helpful for the moisture barrier and it has onion bulb extract which actually is the ingredient in Maderma that scar gel there is a small bit of research, albeit limited, suggesting this ingredient may be helpful for scars. It's anti-inflammatory it's hydrating it's moisturizing it's definitely not greasy however it is a bit on the shiny side which I don't mind. I find that as I wear it that dries down and I really really like it a lot. It's fragrance-free easy to tolerate around the eyes for me didn't have any issue in that regard doesn't peel."

"It has aloe vera and these are basically really hydrating ingredients that you don't see in a lot of American sunscreens and this has cumes in it as well. The price is right so I'm going to be adding this to my cart."

"If you're looking for sunscreens in general that don't irritate your skin, I have rosacea prone skin so I'm always on the lookout for a sunscreen that doesn't do that kind of sticky, stingy kind of thing. The ISNTREE Onion Newpair Sunscreen gives you all the kind of hydration that the regular sunscreen gives you, so you have that hyaluronic acid with the centella as well, so you get this hydrating calming soothing combination which I absolutely love, but also this sunstick is pretty much sweat proof."

"The sunscreen just didn't look really up my alley. It just didn't seem exciting. I have better sunscreens and I didn't pick it up. It uses all US filters, so I was kind of like what's the point."
