Onion New Pair Gel Cream.

"It is their Onion New Pair sunscreen, purple in color. It is a technically a hybrid sunscreen so it has organic, commonly referred to as chemical sunscreen active ingredients and it also has titanium dioxide which is an inorganic, otherwise known as mineral active sunscreen ingredient. The purple color helps neutralize discoloration. It has niacinamide which is good for redness, hyperpigmentation, it's anti-inflammatory, helpful for the moisture barrier. And it has onion bulb extract which actually is the ingredient in Maderma that scar gel. There is a small bit of research, albeit limited, suggesting this ingredient may be helpful for scars. It's anti-inflammatory, it's hydrating, it's moisturizing. It's definitely not greasy, however it is a bit on the shiny side which I don't mind. I find that as I wear it, that dries down and I really really like it a lot. It's fragrance-free, easy to tolerate around the eyes for me, didn't have any issue in that regard, doesn't peel."

"I love the sunscreen in this line. Onion bulb extract may be anti-inflammatory. It's got niacinamide good for dark spots hyperpigmentation. The moisture barrier, panthenol is very moisturizing and it's also got hyaluronic acid sodium escorial phosphates, a stable form of vitamin C, tranexamic acid good for post acne redness. Kind of got a little bit of a purplish hue, nice light gel cream, no fragrance."

"It's got kind of a shiny finish which I actually really like using this in my evening routine or sometimes underneath a mattifying sunscreen. Sometimes if I use a sunscreen with a lot of alcohol in it, this seems to work well underneath it because when you just use it on its own it kind of has a shiny finish to it, which I think a lot of people with oily or acne-prone skin might not totally love. But it does tend to soak in and tends to work well under other products, which is nice. If you apply it just on its own you might not be totally in love with it, but the texture of it is just amazing and it soaks in pretty nicely. It feels really nice on the skin. For the exciting ingredients, sodium ascorbyl phosphate which is a vitamin C derivative, those neem extracts, sorbitol which is a humectant, niacinamide, tranexamic acid, eggplant, turmeric. They've all got the onion, niacinamide, tranexamic acid and then turmeric as kind of the main stars of the show, but they're all wonderful ingredients and they all really work well together."

"It's got ascorbal phosphate, which is a vitamin C derivative known for brightening. It's got ivy gourd extract, which is a great antioxidant. We've got tranexamic acid, which is known for its brightening benefits on skin, hyperpigmentation. We've got hutonia cordata extract, which is a calming ingredient. And then eggplant and turmeric. So this one's really wonderful product. Great brightening, soothing, scar-reducing ingredients in this one and thankfully does not smell at all like onions, but it's really quite unique."
