What the gurus are saying

This toner pairs exfoliating acids (glycolic and lactic) with hydrating hyaluronic acid and soothing centella to smooth rough, bumpy skin while strengthening the barrier. Gurus suggest introducing it just a few nights a week and avoiding retinol at the same time. Most praise the affordable price point and easy application, while others note it can absorb slowly and feel greasy.

"This has eight types of hyaluronic acids so even if I don't wear a moisturizer on certain days and I just use this I'm good to go. In fact most days I just use this. This blends stickiness and you know mattifying and glow are actually opposite common sense but I don't know how it does it. If your normal dry combination skin type this is what I recommend."

"This is great for dry, rough, and bumpy skin. It has 8% total of glycolic and lactic acid, those are alpha hydroxy acids that can get in there and help break up that dry rough skin, smooth out the skin surface, and ultimately while they're exfoliating acids, they end up helping improve barrier function by helping with moisture retention. When the skin doesn't have all of that dry, heaped up, bumpy stuff, it really is able to turn over a lot more efficiently. It also has sodium hyaluronate which is hydrating and it has compounds from centella, which are wonderful in that they are anti-inflammatory and soothing. I do suggest that you try introducing it just a couple of nights a week. If you're new to retinol, don't start using this at the same time because that might just be too much for your skin to have exfoliating acids and a form of vitamin A that you're trying to get used to."

9 Skincare Products Better Than The Cerave Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum - Cruelty Free & Affordable!
"The Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner Plus retails for thirteen dollars and contains several different types of hyaluronic acid as well as peptides and centella. It does contain sage leaf and tea tree extracts which can be beneficial for skin but some people might be sensitive to them, so I wanted to point that out. But otherwise it's a really wonderful light serum ampule and it's just easy to fit in your routine and give your skin some added moisture."

"There's really no scent to this, but I found it to be greasy and it took a long time to soak in and absorb into my skin. So I just didn't love it because of that. But if it works for you, go for it. There's nothing wrong with it. I typically love Isntree in most of their products, but this was one that I still just don't love."

"Coming in at 13 bucks, I'm almost done with it: the Hero Haare Black Right Hyaluronic Toner fragrance free version. They have two versions, one with fragrance, one fragrance free. This one's the fragrance free version which I prefer. This one has 2,384 five-star reviews, thousands of people love it. In my opinion, it's great for dry skin types. We've got rice extract in here, we've got hyaluronic acid, we've got beta glucan which is a wonderful humectant. This is just a really nice toner. It's easy to use, not super fussy, not a ton of ridiculous ingredients in it. So if you have sensitive skin or are sensitive to certain ingredients, I think this one is a nice option."
