"This is the tinted version, also a zinc oxide mineral sunscreen with photolyase in it, protecting against UVA and UVB rays. The tint is a bit on the orange side, but it looks nice on the skin, it's not super orange like Oompa Loompa orange, though if you look closely near your hairline or at the edge where you've applied it, it is a little more orange. It also has Peptide Q10 in it, a proprietary peptide that allegedly stimulates your skin's own ability to make more coQ10, though I don't honestly know how that peptide stacks up to just putting actual coQ10 on the skin. It's nice in terms of application consistency, moisturizing but not greasy, and it doesn't give me any pilling, which I cannot stand. It does have fragrance, a powdery fresh scent that fades quickly and doesn't linger, though fragrance isn't my preference in sunscreens. It's water resistant up to 40 minutes. At seventy dollars it's a pretty steep price point, ten dollars more than the non-tinted version, and I don't know that it's necessarily any better at protecting you from UV exposure than a more affordable option, but it's worth it if you like the way it looks and feels and it motivates you to wear it consistently."

"This is actually called Isdin Eryfotona Ageless and this is my best overall. In my mind I have this checklist of sunscreens. Is it effective? Yes, it is effective. Does it have complementary sun protection? It does. It has L-ascorbic acid. It has vitamin E. These are very potent antioxidants. Then it has photolyase, which is a plankton-derived ingredient and this actually might help repair some of the sun damage that's already existing. And that's pretty unique to a sunscreen. Additionally, it has moisturizing ingredients. It does require a little bit of extra work in that you have to shake it because it's an emulsion every time you use it. But it is tinted, so it also protects against visible light. For a pure mineral sunscreen, watch this blendability—it is amazing. No white cast."
