What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently report visible improvements in hair thickness, density, and shedding reduction with regular use over several months. The device's high power output, comprehensive scalp coverage from hundreds of diodes, and combination of laser and LED wavelengths are praised as superior to competing options. The main caveat is that results take three to six months and the device cannot help with scarring alopecia once scars have formed, though it may help certain scarring conditions if used early. The money-back guarantee is noted as a differentiator.

"Over the past 2 years I do believe that this helped with my hair specifically keeping it and helping regrow it."

"They're literally an investment in your health or in your hair in your overall aging and the function of your skin and the function of your cells, your circulation, there's just so many benefits to this. If you think that red light therapy helps with your skin, your hair comes out of your skin. There's a lot of causes of hair loss, lack of circulation is one of those, and this really causes an increase in circulation in the whole scalp. I am absolutely loving this. I've had this one at least five years, so it's proven itself to me."

"I used the Pro before, which definitely worked, but this whole incident last year prompted me to do an upgrade. I really felt it was well worth the upgrade. Even with the Pro, I remember experiencing noticeably less shedding, but this is kind of unprecedented. The amount of hair loss during washing went from like a ball, a bundle to like five strands. Specs-wise, this is definitely the most powerful scalp device. This has 500 diodes, a combination of laser and LED, plus three different wavelengths. So you're getting a full spectrum treatment here. The power output of this device is comparable to in-clinic treatments. The number of diodes makes a big difference to how effective and powerful it is. This has even more and fuller coverage and a broader intensity. While LED is a broader treatment for the scalp, laser is good at getting deeper and just pinpointing targeting those follicles."

"The iRestore Professional devices do offer pretty good coverage. They get to the occiput of the scalp. It's not perfect, but it's pretty comprehensive. The comprehensive scalp coverage really matters along with consistency of use. I've been really impressed with those devices as far as what they offer. They're not going to regrow hair if you have a scar. They can't do that. So if you have a scarring type of hair loss and it's already formed a scar, they don't help, but there is some evidence that they might help with certain scarring hair loss disorders if initiated early, of course, alongside other treatments during the inflammatory phases."

Hair Care Tips For Your Healthiest Hair Over 40
"The iRestore Professional is a very good, evidence-based device. I really started noticing an improvement in hair strand thickness and a bit of improvement in density, and with ongoing use those results increased. The device uses vertical cavity surface emitting lasers which have a circle shape, and these lasers are known for their efficiency at low power and for providing better comprehensive scalp coverage. The construction of the helmet really gives you optimal total coverage of the scalp hitting key areas of hair loss."
Tackle Menopausal Hair Loss At Home With iRESTORE Elite
"I have previously been using their professional device for many years and loving the results. I have noted an improvement in overall density and thickness. I've been using this for about 3 months and I'm definitely still seeing an improvement in thickness and density. The device itself offers extended scalp coverage and the number and power of the combination of lasers and LEDs leads to an effective treatment option for androgenetic alopecia, commonly referred to as pattern hair loss. I really like about iRestore in contrast to many of its competitors on the market is their money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with the device after a year you can get your money back."

The Real Reason Your Hair Is Thinning (It’s NOT Just Genetics)
"I actually started with the I Restore Professional device several years ago, saw amazing results. The I Restore Professional delivers 1,410 mattes of power. You use it in just 25 minutes three times a week. It's great for those who want a simple yet effective routine."
5 Game Changers For Fuller, Thicker Hair
"I have been a longtime user, devout user of iRestore low-level laser therapy devices. They're an evidence-based way to improve thickness, density, and to get regrowth. I had been using their professional device for many years after experiencing some thinning hair myself and noticed significant improvement with that device. But when the Elite device came out, I knew I had to get my hands on it because it is significantly more powerful. I've been using it for about a year and I did begin noticing even more improvement in thickness and density and a significant reduction in hair shedding. But recently I have observed along my frontal hairline in particular a lot of new hair growth. Those dormant follicles are waking back up."

"I did a ton of research on different hair growth devices and helmets and the technology used in them and I really like this one. It does take about three to six months to really get results. So far so good, it's been very easy to use. One of the things I like about this one is the power output of this device, it's very high. It also has 282 lasers and LEDs and it has a really great coverage to cover the whole scalp area because of the size and design of the helmet. This device uses these lasers and light technology to stimulate the hair follicle to grow hair and it is believed that this technology can increase blood flow to the hair follicle, so more blood means more oxygen and nutrients for the hair to grow. It might increase the production of growth factors around the hair follicle and decrease the inflammation there that can easily cause hair to shed."
