What the gurus are saying

Green tea extract in this serum delivers antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits that calm redness and breakouts while supporting the skin barrier, and the blend of five hyaluronic acids keeps it lightweight enough for oily skin without stripping natural oils. The formula suits all skin types, including acne-prone skin where it may help fade post-acne marks and offer gentle sebum control. One thing to keep in mind: the effect on oil production tends to be temporary, so those hoping for lasting mattification may want to pair it with other steps in their routine.

"Going back to when I first got into Korean skincare, I always used to use Innisfree's Green Tea Seed Serum, which I think is called something different now. I love it. It's great for redness, breakouts, easily sensitized skin and slow aging, and it helps with oil control without stripping your skin of its natural sebum and oils. I've repurchased this serum a total of nine times and I still have no idea how it works."

"Their Green Tea Seed Serum, which is actually my first introduction into Korean skincare. It contains green tea extract that is derived specifically from Jeju Island, which is a lovely beautiful island from Korea. They handpick each of the green teas to produce this serum. It contains green tea extract along with different blends of hyaluronic acid that just makes a great lightweight hydrating serum. Green tea has great antioxidant properties, anti-inflammatory properties, helps to hydrate the skin, repair the skin barrier, and may even offer some anti-aging benefits. So great all around. And also if you have oily skin, green tea may help to support or reduce that sebum control temporarily, so really suitable for all skin types."

"The teas are uniquely picked to formulate the final product so you're getting lots of variety of different polyphenols and compounds in here along with five different blends of hyaluronic acid to give you this really nice lightweight elegant hydrating serum that offers a ray of benefits. It's highly suitable for all skin types, it's lightweight, non-sticky, hydrating, so even if you have acne skin I think this could be something that you can incorporate into your routine that may help with improving post-acne marks and maybe offer some sebum control."
