"I'm still loving the Ilia and the reason is for my friends who asked about hyperpigmentation. It's a super serum and a skin tint all-in-one. If you can find a super serum that does all things, that's going to be your best bet. This is my Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 with niacinamide. So in other words, I don't put on this separately in the morning because my skin serum already has niacinamide in it. So that's why it's important to know which ingredients do what. Vitamin C brightens, even skin tone. Niacinamide does the same thing. Brightens, even skin tones, helps with hyperpigmentation a little bit more than this, but this is a great overall environmental protector."

"This Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint, I was getting down to the very bottom of it and then I looked and I realized it expired like a month or two ago. I'm not messing around with sunscreen that's even a couple months old, it's not worth the risk of it for me anyway. With my hyperpigmentation, melasma, it's just not worth the risk. This one uses zinc, and I have a feeling mineral sunscreens when they go bad, they're bad. Chemical ones may not be so true, but I've heard from zinc when it's done, it's done. You're not getting a benefit from it. So there's no point in messing around with that."

This will give that light cover, you could get to a medium coverage but you would have to apply quite a bit, not full coverage at all. But this will give your skin that true glowy dewy complexion. This is not matte; eventually it might dry down skin-like but it takes a really long time to get there. So if you don't like that glow and that dewiness, then either don't use this or you might have to powder up in certain sections. It really is a nice option. It has a dropper style type of packaging. It really does give that nice healthy natural look to the skin and it does help to even out your skin tone. But again, remember it's more of that light coverage, so if you wanted to go in with a concealer afterwards just to touch up some areas you totally could. And I love it. I really do, and I like how there's a larger color range with this one as well."

The only downfall I will say with this is that when you apply it to your skin I feel like it does take a little while to tone down so your skin will look really shiny at first but once it starts to dry down and when it's at its perfect finish you will have the most healthiest looking skin it just gives that perfect complexion. I am a big fan of this. I use this on those no makeup makeup days. This does help to even out your skin tone and I feel like this is buildable it gives that light to medium coverage."

I heard from some other people who had that problem as well, and then I tried it later on and it didn't have that scent, so I'm pretty sure I got a really bad batch. "I absolutely loved the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint. I love a skin tint, I like that natural look with skin peeking through. Now you're not going to like this if you have normal to oily skin, it is a very thick serum, but it does leave quite a glow to your skin and I believe it has a squalane base, so that's a facial oil that I absolutely love too. For dry mature skin a little bit goes a long way. It took me forever to finish this. This will be a repurchase but not right away because I'm trying a lot of new skin tints for you guys for a review coming up in a few weeks."

This has 10% zinc, it has L ascorbic acid active form of vitamin C, it has niacinamide and allantoin in it to soothe the skin. It is so lightweight, it's kind of a serum makeup hybrid and it absorbs in quickly. This could kind of be a hybrid product for you if you want a vitamin C serum plus makeup coverage plus SPF, this is kind of like everything in one. I would even put another little layer of sunscreen under this just to make sure you are fully fully protected. It is a little pricey but we know it's going to go on sale for the holiday."
