    What the gurus are saying

A few dots of this corrector, matched to skin tone across a spectrum from light peach to red, neutralize purple and dark tones so well that less concealer is needed afterward for a brighter undereye. The range works thoughtfully: fair skin uses pink, medium uses peach, and deep uses orange. One expert noted it could pair nicely with a slightly warmer and darker corrector first for some people, though not all gurus have weighed in on this yet.

"This is a Huda Beauty Faux Filter Color Corrector in shade Peach. These are really nice to gently color correct the eye area. They're not like crazy thick heavy color correctors. After it's blended in, it's not like crazy orange or crazy dark in any way. It actually just levels out the tone under my eye rather than over brightening or making it too orange. We just want it to let level itself out with the rest of my skin."

"Huda Beauty did a really good job of demonstrating this. If you're fair skinned, you're gonna use like a pinky color corrector. If you're medium, you're gonna use a peach. If you're deep, you're gonna use an orange. So my perfect color corrector looks something more like this. Apply just one or two little dots. I'm going to blend that out with my finger and see how it just neutralized out all that purple. Now I don't have to add so much concealer, and it's going to give me that really bright undereye that I was going for."

"I have used something a little bit warmer and slightly darker first, maybe my Huda Beauty color corrector, and then gone in with this. I did two passes of this as well. After I set with the powder, I go in with another pass of the color corrector because obviously you're still seeing some of that darkness. I want it blended in with a sponge."
