"From a device standpoint, [...] the one at Sephora that I would probably recommend is probably the HigherDose Red Light Therapy Mask. If you're going to do it, I will say if you have melasma like me, just avoid it. It's not worth it. I do not use a red light LED because it wakes up my spots and it makes me very unhappy."

"This one is actually a little bit more powerful than a couple of the masks that I like and so I don't recommend this one for people who have any problems with discolorations or light sensitive skin or heat sensitive skin or melasma because a stronger mask might aggravate those things. So you want a weaker mask but this is one of the stronger ones on the market and it is a really good mask because it has the right wavelength."
