"I have found that a lot of cushion compacts, especially Korean cushion foundations, can accentuate my dry skin, my skin flakes, but this one definitely doesn't. Compared to other cushions, it has more serum and more powder in it, so for my dry mature skin it doesn't create much oil, it gives more coverage, and it looks more matte. If you're looking for a good quality matte cushion you can try it, but for women over forty with dry mature skin this is definitely the one, especially in the humid Korean summer when people want more coverage and something that sets well."

"I love their sponge, it is a lot thinner than other brands, and they made it softer so it does not eat up too much product and it is easy to control the amount, plus it gives a little cooling effect. I love the formula, the coverage is not super high, more medium to high, and it felt lighter but still matte. But when I looked in the mirror later my smile lines looked like a disaster, because when you pick a product made for oily combo skin it tends to have more powder in it, and my skin is more wrinkly, so the powder makes the wrinkles show up more. As time goes by I just don't recommend it because it shows up too much lines. If you are twenty years younger than me, in your early twenties or thirties, with skin that is not wrinkly and more oily, Hera would be okay for you to try."

"This is the iconic cushion foundation, heavy but still one of the most popular here, my makeup students have been bringing it to class for years. Right after applying, it looks prettier and blurs my pores better than Espoir, giving a softer, more natural matte finish. But it doesn't last as long, by the end of the day it had faded around the nose while Espoir was still holding up. It's a little pricier than other cushions but I think it's worth the money. If you prefer a softer, more natural matte finish over maximum longevity, Hera is your pick."
