What the gurus are saying

The gurus who tested it praised the formula for stepping away from thiolinone preservatives while keeping zinc pyrithione as the active, and found the shampoo worked well when paired with conditioner. One expert also noted the bottle design lets people squeeze out every last drop and recycle it fully. The one thing to keep in mind: it does contain fragrance, so anyone with a fragrance sensitivity may want to patch-test first.

"Head and Shoulders tried-and-true. Their bare shampoo though, I like that the bottle you can actually roll it up so you can get every last drop out of the bottle, and then you can also recycle the bottle and the cap. So, very nice job with that shampoo."

"I like this bare line because it doesn't have the thiolinone preservatives like the classic clean. It's a zinc pyrithione shampoo. I shampooed my hair with this last night and followed with this conditioner and these are pretty good. It does have fragrance but these are pretty good."
