"This gel from the same brand only comes in one huge size in Japan, with a smaller travel size elsewhere, and the instructions say you can use it on the face and body. At under $8 it's very affordable, pretty cooling, and has no scent. For oily, acne-prone skin you can try it, but if you're over 35 with mature, dry skin it's just pure water, too light, and it's going to evaporate. It feels more like a gel than a serum, and I prefer a serum that pumps more, but I do enjoy using it on my body because it feels cool in the summer."

"I have continued to use the Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel. I like this a lot. I think it's a pretty good value for how much you get in here. It's a very lightweight hydrating gel, a good option for the summer months as a moisturizer because it's nice and lightweight."
