"This dark spot serum has a gel formula, so if you live in a tropical country and never liked sticky products, or you have oily acne prone skin, you will love it. There is no problem adding it to your skincare routine because it is not too heavy, everybody can handle it. It has tranexamic acid and is very low irritant, and they also have a 4 percent version."

"I really like this one. This is actually the first bottle that I've had this product, but I actually have a few more in my backstock. This one is really great for exactly what it says: dark spots and hyperpigmentation. If you do suffer with dark marks after acne or an inflammatory event on your skin, this is really the type of formula you want to look at. There is centella in here, which is a great anti-inflammatory ingredient, so it helps to lessen that inflammation, which helps to lessen the severity of the dark marks. We've got tranexamic acid in here, which helps to target that pigmentation on the skin. There's also a little bit of vitamin C in here, there's some niacinamide, another great way to attack the hyperpigmentation. You can use this full face for brightening, but you can also just use it as a spot treatment for dark spots too, but I find that it works really, really well."

"It does exactly what it promises it delivers on dark spots going away. The ingredients that they're using here include 4% niacinamide, which is a goodie for brightening. 4% here brings a lot of additional benefits to the skin. Not only does it help to brighten the skin, it helps to protect the skin barrier. It also helps to stimulate some collagen. Niacinamide is also an anti-inflammatory ingredient as well as brightening and an anti-aging ingredient. They're also using 4% tranexamic acid. I have personally seen a lot of success with this ingredient for brightening hyperpigmentation and just evening out the skin tone, so they're using a good amount in here. As well as a tiny amount of vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid as well as sodium ascorbyl phosphate. Vitamin C is a very good brightening ingredient, so they have used a little in here to spice up the brightening."

"I was left with a lot of dark marks around this area and this is the serum that really helped me clear that up. I love tranexamic acid. I've used it in a couple of different products before with really good results. Trying out this serum was the perfect time right when I did decide to pick it up. It really did help to fade that hyperpigmentation. There's 4% of tranexamic acid in here along with 4% of niacinamide. If you're not suffering with sensitivity there's no reason to be like niacinamide's boring, it works, it works. I build niacinamide into my skincare routine every single day and it's really really helpful, and I think that it's definitely contributing in lifting this formula up. We also have centella extract in here, the four active compounds of centella, so there's a little bit of a soothing anti-inflammatory effect with this. I do feel like this serum not only did help with the dark spots but I do feel like it helped to reduce some redness on my skin too, and I think the centella and the niacinamide are at play. The texture has been perfect for this weather."

"I was actually really surprised at how fast it started to brighten my skin. I've been slotting it into my nighttime routines when I'm not using tretinoin, so I use this on the other nights. You could use it in the morning, and you could certainly use it every day morning and night if you want to. It has this gel texture that's hydrating but spreads out a lot thinner than it first looks and just melts into the skin really nicely. It plays alongside other products really well because it doesn't bring a lot of heft or moisture, but it really is a beautiful treatment serum. It has 4% tranexamic acid in here, there's also centella, which is a beautiful anti-inflammatory ingredient that promotes healing, and then there's also a kiss of vitamin C in here."

"I've been raving about this since the spring because this has been really great for helping to brighten hyperpigmentation on my face, [...] especially those dark marks that happen after a pimple. [...] They're not just focusing on the tranexamic acid, they're using 4% here, which is a good amount, and I have found really good success with this particular brightening ingredient especially for the dark marks. The niacinamide is a great ingredient and does help even skin tone, but I've since learned that skincare researchers actually studied tranexamic acid, found it did not work, and weren't able to publish those findings because of who funded the research, which is why I'm changing my opinion on the ingredient. "I've been using the Haruharu Wonder dark spot serum, a clear gel, mostly where I have some post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It has brightening tranexamic acid and niacinamide at disclosed percentages, both at 4%, which are effective levels, and I love that the percentages are disclosed. It also lists ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbyl phosphate, which are forms of vitamin C, but those don't seem to be disclosed at the studied levels based on where they sit in the ingredients list. Niacinamide and tranexamic acid alone could still be effective. It looks like this is getting really good reviews so far, and this is one I'll continue to follow up on with you all because I'm using it and I need it."

"In terms of performance I really like this one. It promises to help with hyperpigmentation dark spots, well brightening and refining uneven skin tone and texture. I would agree that the serum delivers on most of those accounts. I do believe it helps brighten up my skin, helps with melasma and hyperpigmentation in my opinion. This helps with newer dark spots better. A lot of stubborn old dark spots need something much stronger sometimes and sometimes with higher percentages and more frequency, so I think this helps for newer hyperpigmentation. For super old hyperpigmentation I think there's probably going to be other products that are a little bit better, but there's nothing wrong with trying this out. I also appreciate the soothing ingredients that they've added into here. I really like that it will help with most discolorations, definitely is not going to hurt, but sometimes more stubborn requires a little bit stronger things and different things. What's nice about the serum is it's wonderful for all skin types. It's great for acne prone skin types, there's no acnegenic ingredients of note, no scent so it's also friendly for sensitive skin for the most part, and the gel texture makes it great for drying and oily skin type. I really think they did a pretty good job with it."
