"I have four Haruharu Wonder Black Rice sunscreens. I've talked about this already. I like it. It's very good. It's my daytime sunscreen that I use like all the time. The only thing is that like one day it just started peeling on me when I do makeup. So I don't use it underneath makeup. I use something else. If you are like me and you're very sensitive, like your eyes are very sensitive to chemical filter sunscreens, these filters do not sting my eyes, which is amazing. "I didn't like this at all the first time I tried it, it felt sticky and tacky, but I figured out the problem was applying it over a heavy cream. If you wear this over a light moisturizer or no moisturizer at all, it works beautifully as a moisturizing sunscreen. The finish is gorgeous, velvety, not too shiny, and this new formula doesn't have the filter that used to give a white cast. It's fast to apply, no white cast, and still gives SPF 50 plus PA four plus coverage. It's a wonderful product, wonderful formula, one of my absolute favorites from the brand. The only reason I'm out of it is because I gave away my backups, not because it's bad, because I love it so much it's hard for me not to share."

"This is the Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airy Fit Daily Sunscreen. I initially did not like it and now I love it. When you look at the filters used in this product it's my dream filter combination, they are so beautiful and so fast to apply because none of them contribute to a white cast. I love the full formula of this sunscreen, it is completely fragrance-free and low irritant. I tend not to like pump packaging, and originally Haru Haru Wonder was saying this is for oily skin types, which confused me as a person with dry acne-prone skin, because usually sunscreens aren't limited to a skin type. I felt like it was so sticky, but it turns out this is a sunscreen where if you apply it over a heavy cream, the two make a kind of sticky, tacky texture, which I do kind of like under makeup, but if you don't want that tacky sensation there's a way around it, use a lightweight moisturizer instead. I now think that's the reason they were originally calling this for oily skin types, because the moisturizers dry skin types gravitate towards don't play as well with this product."

"I noticed myself this summer saying the Haruharu Air Fit has definitely been my go-to daily sunscreen recently, and that kind of surprised me. I've always enjoyed this sunscreen. It has a very interesting texture. I describe it almost balm-like, almost ointment-like, because it doesn't have that watery wet essence feel that a lot of Korean beauty sunscreens are well known for, and it doesn't have that greasy creamy traditional sunscreen texture that a lot of Western and European sunscreens have. This is actually something kind of different. It's still light and elegant and spreads really beautifully in a nice thin layer, but it's not wet, so it actually dries on your skin really quickly. It offers a nice amount of moisture without being like a full-on heavy cream texture, but it's actually been performing so good for me. Because it's not so shiny and because it's not so wet and because it doesn't have that super emollient, really moisturizing, greasy kind of feel that a lot of sunscreens can have, that has changed the game for me with makeup especially. I can skip out on primer when I'm using this."

"This is more truly a suncream texture but it applies in a thin layer and it absorbs and dries very quickly. It's very dry touch and there's a very minimal finish to it. It's not like wet and dewy like gel creams can be, but it's not like greasy or oily at the top like a hardcore traditional sunscreen cream can be. It's really elegant. I'm just blown away by the experience of using it, how fast it dries. It works really well under makeup because of how fast it dries. I think that's really the key to getting your sunscreen to work well with makeup - it really needs to be settled on your skin pretty fast. This is a 10 out of 10. It's a moisturizing sunscreen texture, a lot more than your traditional K beauty sunscreens that have kind of that more wet gel-like texture. This is a more dry, moisturizing texture, but because it doesn't have that wet glowy finish to it, it actually acts like a makeup primer beautifully. This has been my daily summer sunscreen. There's no water resistance, so I'm not going to use this when I'm sweating or outside for a prolonged period of time. But my makeup actually sticks to this really nicely. It doesn't shift around. This is often one that I recommend for colder weather because it does have this really interesting moisturizing texture to [...] it, almost like kind of balm balmy. "For sunscreen I'm going in with the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airy Fit Daily Sunscreen. This one's a little bit more moisturizing. It does provide really high UVA protection for a K beauty sunscreen. It is not water resistant so it's still something that I wear more for casual sun exposure days in the summer. The PFA rating in the sunscreen test for the UVA protection rates about 26.6. That's significantly higher than most K beauty sunscreens which usually hover around 16, 17, 18. So it's actually just providing much more robust UVA protection. I just feel a little bit more protected especially in the high UV days of summer with this sunscreen. It's not water resistant. It's not for swimming or anything like that. It's still for casual sun exposure but it's just a little bit more robust. And even though it's more moisturizing, I really like the satin finish of this. It's not really shiny. It's not too matte."

"I had to re-review this product because I am deeply in love with this now. It has revealed so many benefits to me that I'm actually starting to rely on this as my main squeeze sunscreen. [...] This is such an amazing sunscreen. It is a chemical sunscreen that uses four different new generation chemical filters. Love this, it's a really good one for winter too because, like the name says, it's moisturizing but breathable with an Airy Fit. It has a really interesting moisturizing texture. It's not as heavy as some sunscreens, but it's not as light as the more essence-like sunscreens either. I need more moisture in winter and this was a great time to use this one. It's an awesome sunscreen, totally a 10 out of 10 for me personally."

"This one from Haruh Haru is very similar in the amount of moisture it brings to the skin but it's doing it in a little bit more of a satiny type of finish with the sunscreen. This is a little bit of a newer pick for me. I started to use this one last year and I really did enjoy it because I found the finish of the sunscreen slightly more unique in K beauty, a little bit more moisture in the texture. It has kind of a creamier consistency to it, spreads really beautifully and silky across the skin. It's got such a lovely feel and it feels like it absorbs and dries on the skin quite quickly, which is really important for sunscreens. We do want a film forming ability with our sunscreens because that's how it actually protects our skin from the sun, but we just don't necessarily want it to feel filmy on top of our skin. And this doesn't. It just feels like it absorbs and sinks in and just melds with your skin so gorgeously, but it feels like it is creating that sunscreen protection on your skin and drying down so that you can go in with your makeup, go on with your day and not be worried like am I going to wipe my sunscreen off because it's sitting on top of my skin. It just gets in there and it just does what it needs to do. It's not too dewy, it's not too shiny on top either, just like a pretty neutralish type of finish."

"I am really impressed with this off of my first kind of First Impressions with this because it brings in a lot of qualities of different sunscreens but in a unique and fresh way. It brings in so much of what I love about those two sunscreens, the moisture and creaminess and the protective feel, with more of the light airiness and breathability and comfort in the same bottle. It's a cream, it's moisturizing, it makes your skin feel really soft and silky. There is almost like a balmy occlusivity to this, it's definitely got presence on the skin, it's just not as heavy. "A newer pick that I just started using last summer, but just has not fallen out of my skincare routines yet, is the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airy Fit Daily Sunscreen. This is another really great elegant chemical sunscreen. But what's so interesting about this one is it doesn't have that essency dewy like texture that the Skin1004 sunscreen has. This one is a little bit thicker and a bit more cream like at first, but as you spread this onto your skin, it actually starts to thin out, but it is still a little bit more occlusive. It almost has a balm like texture to it. It's not creamy, greasy like a traditional sunscreen, but it's not like runny, hydrating, essency and dewy like K beauty sunscreens are. This is something different. It spreads really beautifully onto the skin. And because this is a chemical sunscreen, I don't find it creates a white cast on my skin tone. It actually just blends very transparent onto the skin, but it feels not as wet. And it actually has this really gorgeous like satin almost neutral like finish on the skin."

"Haru Haru Black Rice Moisture Airy Fit Daily Sunscreen SPF 50 plus PA + 4. I have been using this now for a few years and I really fell in love with it last summer, especially as a great sunscreen underneath makeup. It's not water resistant, but it's a great everyday type of sunscreen. It has this gorgeous velvety neutral type of finish and texture to it. Doesn't add dew to your skin, but it doesn't mattify it either. And because it's velvety in the finish, especially after it absorbs and sets on your skin, it actually creates this really wonderful makeup primer effect."

It is a bit more protective with more UVA protection than some of my favorite K-beauty sunscreens, so it is great for high UV days, and it has an almost primer-like finish that works really well for makeup application."

I started using this in 2024 but it really became my hardcore daily driver favorite in spring and summer of 2025, and I haven't stopped using it since, it's displaced some of my other older favorite sunscreens. I like the protection of the formula, and because it's not shiny or wet in the finish, it's velvety and neutral and a little grippy, so it actually replaces my makeup primer, I just put my makeup right on top after it dries. "I not only love this one because there's zero white cast. It still feels super lightweight that invisible effect that Korean sunscreens do so well at providing. But this one adds like a little bit of a moisturizing, nourishing experience without leaving that super gross, greasy sunscreen experience that we all know way too well here in the USA. It has this velvety soft feel to it that still makes your skin look so nice, but just adds that little oomph of moisture that you want during the winter time. Also, it has a ceramide complex, which is so important to get during the winter time because that really helps to restore your skin barrier health and with hydration and nourishment. I will say compared to the other Korean sunscreens I've recommended on my channel and typically compared to what people imagine when they think of Korean sunscreens, this one does have a little bit of a heavier base. It's more of like a creamy consistency, but it still dries down to like a velvety, invisible appearance, which is why I feel like it's such a good option for winter time. And I'm definitely going to be using it during the colder months."

"For the final step of the skincare routine, we got to go in with our sunscreen. If you want to experience the height of Korean skincare technology, sunscreen is where it's at. They never disappoint. This is a new sunscreen I don't think I've talked about on my channel before, the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airy Fit SPF 50 sunscreen. One of the reasons I feel like this is such a good fit for fall and winter is that it has a little bit more of a creamier base than the type of sunscreens I typically recommend on my channel, which are very gel cream consistency, but this has a nice velvety finish that doesn't make your skin look too shiny or greasy, but still supplies that nourishment. Of course, it's a Korean sunscreen, so the formula is just superior. It doesn't have any white cast and still feels really lightweight on the skin, but it's just that perfect consistency to give your skin a little extra oomph during the fall and winter. Plus, the ingredient list is amazing for a sunscreen. It has a bunch of antioxidants, niacinamide, rice oils, ceramides, like really stellar formula that I've grown to love, especially when my skin is feeling a little dry."

"Out of all the sunscreens in this video, this is probably the most innovative and unique formulation I've ever used. It finds a beautiful middle ground, giving the skin a velvety soft, almost blurring appearance that feels nourishing without being greasy, heavy, or shiny. If you have dry skin but don't want to look shiny or greasy, I could not recommend this more, it is so freaking good. It has niacinamide, rice bran oil, and a bunch of antioxidants. "If you are someone who is wanting similarly beautiful Korean sunscreen consistency but you want a little bit more moisture, a little bit more glow, I would definitely recommend this one. This one, when compared to US sunscreens, is by no means heavy, but it does provide a little bit of that additional moisture if you're wanting a more cream sunscreen experience. It has ingredients like centella asiatica extract, ceramides, as well as their signature black rice to really hydrate and plump the skin. I love using this one on my dry cheeks, and on my neck and ears as well. It still feels lightweight, it's definitely not going to be that greasy sunscreen experience we know too well in the USA, but it still packs a little bit of hydration and moisture."

"It's got a really nice non-greasy finish. Beautiful under makeup. It's like, wait, did I just apply sunscreen? It's easy to apply liberally too, which is what you want to be doing with sunscreen. "This formula is really moisturizing, it is a little bit richer in comparison to the Round Lab formula, so if you tend more on the dry end, like you are having issues more with water loss, dryness, and you want something that is richer in texture, this would be a great option. But again, it is not greasy or shiny, it is really sophisticated in terms of the elegance of the formula. This one has heartleaf extract, which is really popular in a lot of Korean skincare products and sunscreens. It is a botanical ingredient that is packed with polyphenols which have an anti-inflammatory effect and help with those free radicals. It's a source of something called quercetin, which at least in cells in a dish has been shown to help cut down on damage from UVB to skin cells. It has Tinosorb S and Mexoryl SX, so great filters for broadspectrum UV protection to protect against those inflammatory cascade of events that aggravate all issues surrounding combination skin as well as of course cause sun damage that prematurely ages the skin."

"The Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airy Fit Sunscreen SPF 50 often makes an appearance in those empties videos because it's great. When you put this sunscreen on you don't even realize you're putting sunscreen on because it's like you're putting on a moisturizer. It offers broadspectrum protection. It has niacinamide which is good for redness and the moisture barrier. It has rice bran oil which is an emollient packed with anti-inflammatory and soothing compounds. And it has ceramides, zero white cast, amazing filters for broadspectrum ultraviolet radiation protection. While this is moisturizing, it is your sunscreen, so you have to use it as a sunscreen meaning you have to put it on all sun-exposed surfaces. You need to use enough of it in order for it to work as a sunscreen. A good estimate is two finger lengths or half a teaspoon for the face and neck. Don't forget your ears. They see a lot of sun throughout your lifetime and skin cancers do pop up there."

"The Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airy Fit Daily Sunscreen is a chemical sunscreen with no white cast. It is very rich and has a thicker formula. It has avobenzone, octinoxate, and octocrylene as the UV sunscreen active ingredients. It also has niacinamide, which is good for supporting the needs of the barrier and is an antioxidant, so helpful for warding off oxidative stress in the setting of UV exposure, helpful for redness, and helps to defend against free radicals that otherwise impair barrier recovery. It's a really great formula. It is very rich and thick in comparison to many other Korean sunscreens."

It's moisturizing, a little thicker, a little richer, but again, not heavy or greasy, easy around the eyes, chemical sunscreen. It does have niacinamide. "Coming back to an oldie but a goodie, I repurchase a lot of my favorite sunscreen, why reinvent the wheel. So I went back to the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airy Fit Daily Sunscreen, and this one comes up in like 90% of these videos because I just love it so much. It gives broad spectrum UV protection that does not feel miserable to put on the skin. This is a richer texture, if you're someone who tends to have drier skin and you want something a little richer but still not oppressive or heavy, this one is great. It has lingonberry extract, rice bran oil, and Houttuynia cordata, all of which offer soothing and antioxidant properties. If your skin tends to be dry, I would suggest this one."

"This is similar as far as ingredients to the Peacom one, except the texture is a bit thicker. This is one for if you have dry skin and don't mind a heavier feeling sunscreen. It's not super heavy, but it is heavier than the Peacom one, and instead of that burst of hydration you get more of a shield-like feel. It's got rice bran oil in it, plus Houttuynia cordata, a botanic extract that helps ward off oxidative stress, and it also has ceramide and phytosterol, good ingredients for the moisture barrier. It's a great option if you have an impaired skin barrier and are looking for a daily facial moisturizer for day to day use. It's not water resistant, so it's not something to rely on for sport."

This is a chemical sunscreen, it's traditional white sunscreen, but this doesn't leave any white cast. I think this is the only chemical sunscreen that I've ever truly loved. I tried it last summer and I thought, oh, it's really great, but I know it's going to irritate my skin eventually, and it hasn't. "This feels really nice going on it, just feels like a normal face lotion. It doesn't have a greasy feel at all and it's not leaving a white cast. First impression amazing, like zero white cast, not greasy feeling, a little bit of a luminous finish but not super luminous. It's supposed to have a velvet finish and it feels so nice, my hands don't feel greasy, just feels like a lightweight lotion. After 20 minutes, this sunscreen looks so good, it looks so natural on the skin like your skin just looks like skin, and especially if you like a little bit of a dewy look this is definitely giving me that. It's not as velvety as I wanted it to be, I wanted it to be really matte and really velvety, and it does have a bit of luminosity to it. The ingredients in here are really nice. It's got niacinamide, glycerin, some flour extracts so you have to be careful of those if you have any allergies, and then it's got the rice bran and rice bran oil. For the sunscreens they are all the European sunscreens: Tinosorb M, Tinosorb A Plus, Tenosorb S, Mexoryl SX, and Polysilicone 15, so it gives you really robust broad spectrum protection, protects really well in the UVA spectrum. So a really nice sunscreen, fairly inexpensive."

"I've used up this is my second or third tube since I discovered it a few months ago. This doesn't leave a white cast, it's not super shiny, it doesn't feel greasy, it sets up perfectly and dries and you don't feel like you're wearing anything on your skin. It's an all chemical sunscreen, but it uses European and Asian sunscreening ingredients that the FDA hasn't approved yet. I love these because they're not irritating at all on my skin, so I can use this one with no problems. Even all the mineral sunscreens seem to irritate my skin now, so I've been using this a lot more. It's not tinted, so on days when I'm not wearing any makeup I still reach for other products just because they give me a tint. One of the things I love best about it is how this tube flattens out when you get to the end of it. Just such a beautiful velvety dewy finish. I used it a lot when I was on vacation and I just absolutely love this. It was just an enjoyable experience to apply sunscreen with this product. It sits so nicely on the skin. If you've tried a lot of Korean sunscreens, some of them just feel borderline too light. But if you're wanting something to hug the skin a little more, grip the skin a little more, where it's like a tangible, appreciable layer of hydration that hugs your skin, this is that. It's just thick enough. It blends, but it's just thick enough where you feel the comfort and you can sense the protection. It leaves your skin just really looking and feeling rich. If you like a gel sunscreen or gel moisturizer, like a gel cream, but you don't like wearing sunscreen, I think you'll like this product. I love moisturizers and I tend to hate sunscreens if I'm being honest, and this to me was just a nice moisturizing experience."

"There is no MBBT there so this one has zero white cast on me and I've seen reviews from people with darker skin saying it has no white cast on them as well. It's also made by Kolmar which is the big Korean sunscreen manufacturer that makes a lot of the really popular Korean sunscreens. I'd say this is on the more moisturizing and creamy end of Korean chemical sunscreens but it is still really lightweight with a creme gel moisturizer consistency. It applies really smoothly and feels hydrating without being greasy and it leaves a slightly tacky moisturized feeling on your skin. It goes on a little bit shiny but it sinks in pretty quickly and it glides on just so smoothly. There's no fragrance and it doesn't pill on me and it sits really nicely under my makeup. This has ceramides as well as niacinamide and adenosine and that's what makes this a triple functional cosmetic in Korea, in other words as well as being an SPF it is also brightening and anti-wrinkle."

"This is one of my longtime favorite sunscreens, I first started reviewing it in 2023. It has a relatively unique formula for a Korean sunscreen, it doesn't have MBBT, one of the ingredients that gives a white cast, so if you've had trouble with that this is a good one to try. I personally found this pretty moisturizing but still pretty matte, it sits really nicely under makeup and I haven't had trouble with any of the makeup I've tried it under, which has been a lot. It's really lightweight and great for oily skin. It's not water resistant though, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're moving around or sweating a lot, and if you're getting a ton of sun exposure I'd recommend getting a sunscreen locally instead so you don't have to worry about shipping."
