Black Rice Moisture 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel.

"I'd give this cleansing gel an okay to great rating. It's not that common to see a cleansing gel in K-beauty, it's mostly cleansing foam, but when I worked it into a foam it didn't bubble that much because it's a low acidic cleanser, so it's great as a second cleanser or as a morning cleanser if you double cleanse. It doesn't really erase heavy makeup well, so it's not for that, but if you have really sensitive, redness prone skin, this is great because it doesn't foam up much, feels really soft, and after I washed it off my skin wasn't tight at all, so it's really moisturizing. If you're worried about your skin barrier, this can be a good one."

"I tried this to understand what the purpose of making it this way was. I think they made it as a second cleanser for people who are doing double cleansing, since after the oil you have to use a really mild, gentle cleanser. It's lightweight, but for me it feels like they tried to make it too gentle, so it doesn't really erase that well. Not for me."

"The Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel is such a pleasurable experience to cleanse with. It's a clear, colorless, lightweight gel with ginseng extract in it, which is soothing and anti-inflammatory and has antioxidants which help with oxidative stress that damages protein, lipids, etc. in our skin. The formula overall is pretty no nonsense, not a whole lot going on, but the performance is just so wonderful. It goes on almost like you're putting on a moisturizing gel, and then with water it creates this very silky, lightweight lather that really helps to lift up and remove dirt, oil, and impurities from the skin surface. It has glycerin, it has aspila ferment filtrate, and it has beta glucan, super hydrating ingredients, so it helps remove those impurities without stripping away moisture unnecessarily. There's no fragrance in this cleanser."

"I still use and adore the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel. If you're looking for a fragrance-free gentle yet effective gel cleanser, try this one out because it has a really nice soft jelly-like texture. It glides over the skin surface easily, it almost feels like you're putting on some sort of hydrating, moisturizing mask, but then it helps to break up the film of dirt and pollutant on the skin surface. You can pair it with a cleansing oil or cleansing balm to help remove water-resistant sunscreen and makeup if you find you need to. It's very gentle, it generates a nice silky lather, it's really a very pleasant experience to use, free of fragrance. I really enjoy a gel cleanser for removing that excess oil but not drying out the skin by being too harsh. Highly recommend this if you are someone who enjoys a gel cleanser."

"I had to try their black rice moisture 5.5 cleansing gel because you all know I love a cleansing gel. It's just a cleanser consistency I really like and I find that it is a great option. The cleansing gel formulas are a great option if you classify yourself maybe as combination skin, you've got some dryness going on but you also have oily skin. I find that the cleansing gels often offer a lot for those of you who have combination skin, though they can be helpful really for any skin type. This one is free of fragrance and it's a gel but it's very hydrating like you almost feel as you're gliding it over the face, like you can almost feel the improvement in the moisture, like it's trying to help your moisture be out as well as remove dirt and pollutants. It's got ginseng extract in it, again that's going to be anti-inflammatory, and it leaves to a nice silky almost creamy lather as you work it up on your face."

"This is a gel that lathers up nicely and I like to use this more so in my nighttime routine as that second cleanse and then occasionally I will use this in the morning as well. This is a very gentle formula that is quite moisturizing. It doesn't strip my skin whatsoever and it never feels tight. My skin just feels like my skin and that's what I like in a cleanser. There are many foaming cleansers out there that completely strip your skin and I'm not for that. I like formulas like this that just keep your skin feeling comfortable all the time. I believe this would be great for all skin types but if you are on the drier side and your skin is always tight and flaky, perhaps you may not want to use a gel foaming cleanser because you may find that this isn't moisturizing enough. But when my skin is normal and when it's oily I just love these types of formulas, especially during the summer months. This is unscented and you can use this up to twice a day if you really wanted to. This has a pH of 5.5 which mimics our natural skin's pH, so this is amazing."

"I also really enjoyed the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel. I did share this a couple of times back in the summer months and I even featured this in my summer skincare routine video, I believe. I love this for the summer because it has that true gel texture, it lathers up nicely, it doesn't strip the skin. I honestly believe this will be great for the winter months as well, especially if you have oily combination skin, but even if you have dry skin or normal skin I think this is still going to be lovely. During the summer there were several times where my skin was on the drier side and this kept my skin barrier nice and comfortable. This has a pH of 5.5 which mimics your natural skin's pH, so it keeps everything balanced and it cleanses really nicely. You can use this both morning and evening. If you like K-Beauty and you like that gel texture, honestly I would say try this. It's also unscented, and it did the job really well. I really liked it."

"I've been really consistent with the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel and I really love this. This does a very good job to cleanse the skin during that second cleanse. It does a very good job to remove all of that so that your skin is clean for your skincare. I love it, it is super lightweight and I love that gel texture as well. When you emulsify this with water it lathers like a dream, so it works well as that second cleanse because of that reason. This is non-stripping, it doesn't feel drying on the skin either. "I've probably gone through maybe three, four bottles of this. I consistently found myself returning to this cleanser because on the surface it does not look like a cleanser I would really love. I definitely gravitate towards the more deeper cleansers, more intense focused on oily skin control. This one is definitely more so focused on hydration and balancing the skin. "The Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Cleansing Gel, I initially wasn't expecting to like this one because it was marketed as a solution for people with more dry skin, [...] and as someone who has more oily combination skin that really needs a strong cleanser to get everything off in the morning and night, I just thought this wasn't going to work. But then I went through my first bottle and my second and third and fourth and I love this one because even though it feels like a more gentle, nourishing and hydrating experience, it still does a really good job of cleansing everything off of your face. I particularly love using this one in the morning because I feel like it's a great way of removing your nighttime skincare products, still deeply cleansing your skin, but leaving it super soft and supple afterwards. I've never noticed any dehydration or dryness after using this. Every time I use this cleanser, I just feel like my skin is so soft. "It doesn't overly strip the skin. It has a bunch of natural extracts that are soothing and antioxidant rich. It has a ferment filtrate to help with the amount of healthy bacteria on the skin, and ginseng, which is an incredible ingredient for soothing skin sensitivity even for aging. The ingredient list I was like wow. And it has this nice frothiness so I can tell where I'm properly cleansing. Best of all, I've just never noticed any irritation, redness, or sensitivity afterwards. Such a good formula."

"This cleanser is by no means new to my channel but I love it so much and I think it deserves more love. It's the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Cleansing Gel, I've talked about this one for years. I'm usually not the biggest fan of cleansers focused on hydration and gentle cleansing because I'm oily as hell and need something strong, but this cleanser does such a good job finding that perfect balance of deeply cleansing your skin enough without drying it out, and it actually leaves your skin quite hydrated. It's one of my favorite ones to use during the winter time because it leaves your skin so supple and hydrated, thanks to its ingredient list of gentle cleansing agents, ginseng extract, rice extract, and beta glucan. It's one of my most repurchased cleansers on my channel and one of my top all time favorites."
