Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner.

"It has a very watery texture, but there's just a little bit of body, just a little bit of plumpness. It's not sticky or tacky or thick, but there's just a little plumpness. It absorbs deeply into the skin very easily and delivers that deep down hydration and plump juicy feel without building up thick on the skin. I use this in one layer, two layers on my skin and it feels amazing. This texture really lends itself to being able to layer it up onto your skin a couple of times. Put one layer on if your skin still feels thirsty. Apply another layer. And so I would recommend this for all skin types."

"I do like this one because it's definitely that full fat water type of situation toner. It's runny. It's very liquidy. [...] There is just like a kiss of body to it, but it's not like thick plumping gel-like type of consistency. "I actually do really enjoy this. This is a very solid hydrating toner in my opinion. It is one that has a little bit more body to it so you do feel a good hydration with this, but there's a little bit more of a slip and just a tiny bit of plumpness that this brings to the skin that's actually really pleasant. I do find this to be a replenishing toner, a balancing toner, a gentle toner, but not a sticky toner, not a heavy overwhelming type of toner, not something that's going to weigh your skin down. I do think a majority of skin types will enjoy this. With the hyaluronic acid, I don't find it overwhelming. There's not a lot of bells and whistles on it and I think that's actually a good thing. It's also just very much an affordable toner. I'm routinely finding this on sale for like ten, twelve dollars, so I think it's just a really good value overall. I've invited this into my skincare routine many times over the years and I think it's that combination of solid performing, no bells and whistles, nothing to worry about, good performing texture, and value that all come together to make this something that I am happy to use over and over and over again."

"This is literally like a nice hug for your skin. [...] I have not loved a toner so much. And this is not just a toner. This is like a toner, an essence, a serum. And if you are someone with oily skin or combination skin, this is also like a moisturizer. The only thing I would recommend is that if you're someone with acne prone skin, avoid this. "This is the product I started to get to know this brand with, and I actually loved it when I first tried it, but now, there's a scented and an unscented version. The lavender scent is strong, so if you're sensitive to fragrance go unscented. The formula feels a bit outdated, it absorbs slowly and feels slightly slippery, and if you layer it twice it gets sticky. It's best for dry, mature skin, that's where it works. But K-beauty formulas have improved a lot lately, and once you try something better it's hard to go back. Torriden has faster absorption, is fragrance free, lightweight, and works for oily, combo, sensitive skin, summer, even for guys, so Torriden wins for me. Haru isn't bad at all, it really comes down to preference, but I reach for Torriden all day."

"This comes scented or unscented, it's amazing, you can pick the scented one, it's still okay with me, but if you're sensitive you can definitely go with the unscented since it does have a scent. It's a bit slippery, like old-school hyaluronic acid. Nowadays Korean brands have more advanced hyaluronic acid that isn't slippery, but this still absorbs well and works pretty good, and if you layer it two or three times it works like a serum. Hyaluronic acid works for everybody whatever your skin is, especially in humid weather, it holds water in the air so well. If you feel dehydrated from air conditioning, tropical country ladies, try this out today. I'm pretty generous with it."

"This one has hyaluronic acid in it. Compared to other toners it's a lot thicker, for oily skin it takes a little more time to absorb because of the hyaluronic acid, but it stays a lot more hydrating. The scent was okay, and if you're sensitive to scent they have an unscented version. I use this more in winter because it's the thicker version, and I love using this because it works a lot more than the watery ones. Just be careful, some people say it makes them break out, and it has alcohol and lavender oil, which sensitive skin can react to."

It's a great toner for adding hydration, but I have a difficult, acne prone skin type and I need more calming and soothing, and you don't quite get those properties with this, it's just a very hydrating product. Rice is a great ingredient for sensitive skin, very gentle, with great antioxidant activity, and this toner has such great body to it. "This is the Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner, the fragrance-free, alcohol-free version, with fermented rice ingredients as well as hyaluronic acid. It has a little more viscosity to it, it's a little bit thicker in the way it feels on the skin, which I feel translates into being a little more hydrating. "Their Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner, it main humectant is of course hyaluronic acids so it provides a really nice hydrating feeling that remains throughout the day and it's kind of like just thicker than water kind of consistency. [...] Rice extract is a really popular ingredient within K Beauty, Haru Haru's version is fermented meaning their fermented black rice extract is two times more effective. It's moisturizing, it's an antioxidant, the black rice leaves your skin feeling plump. "When I first tried this I was enamored at how it hydrated my skin. The black rice antioxidants in here were so good for me, and especially when used under sunscreen, not only did it feel amazing but my skin would look better by the end of the day when normally I was used to my large pores and areas of patchiness kind of showing up. "This one reminds me of Kombucha for your face. This actually is a fragrance free version and they literally launched a fragrance free option. Look at it—see how it's gelatinous and beautiful, watch how it turns into skincare. I love this so much. The black rice in here is an amazing antioxidant. This goes so well underneath your sunscreen if you're really oily and you're just looking for a little bit of hydration and a little boost under your sunscreen. You could use this instead of a moisturizer, or if you're dry you can layer this along with other toners or serums to give your skin a boost of hydration. "HARUHARU Wonder also has their Black Rice Toner. It is like kombucha in a bottle, I love it so much. Just keep in mind that although this doesn't have fragrance, it does have lavender oil and it does have limonene, and so this might not be the best for the most sensitive prone skin."
