"This facial oil is a great one, I gave it to my close friends and people love it, I love it too. It's not really oil, more like oil-like, so it's really easy to apply, you can use it as a top coat instead of Vaseline to seal in your skincare, or mix one drop into your moisturizer. For anyone with dry, mature skin it's great because it doesn't feel too oily. My friend Sally, who's more oily combo and likes using skincare devices, gave it a bad score because it absorbs too quickly to work as a massage oil, it's not 100% oil so it doesn't stay slippery long enough for that. But for me and Yuna it's great, not too heavy, easy to use, doesn't break you out or bring on too many pimples. I love their size too, so try it out. The one thing is it has a kind of strong, slightly lavender scent, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to that."

"They added lingula oil. This is such a disaster. And the only reason I tell you to wear a facial oil is if you post menopause and your skin is very dry or you have like eczema prone skin in which case both sets of skin are sensitive. You cannot afford to be applying irritants to the skin. So this is an absolute disaster. No one should be buying those products especially those people who need a facial oil. So, this one is a hard no."

"This has fragrance, which isn't my personal favorite, but I just think indie brands do oils the best. This is fine, I don't hate it, but I just find it to not be anywhere near as exciting as the indie brands that use beautiful lists of carrier oils, perfect combinations that I feel really make a difference in your skin."

"Haruharu Wonder has another really good one that I find are better for dissolving the oil in this area. I would recommend using like your knuckles as opposed to your nails just because we don't want to cause any damage here, and you're just kind of massaging these things out."

"I'm not really one to use facial oils personally, but where I find them effective is if you have patches of dry flaky skin. I find they're helpful for exfoliating the dry flaky stuff without causing barrier disruption because they just slip between the rough skin and help it to desclamate without scrubbing away at the protective barrier. So I'd use this off and on for that purpose. It's fine, but because it's now beyond the best by date, I was going to use this for getting sticky labels out."

"I got this in my Korean Advent calendar and I used it a couple of times. I like using facial oils like if I've got chapped lips I like to use a little facial oil to smooth down the rough stuff or if I have some flakiness from skin irritation I find facial oils are nice to just smooth down the flaky stuff. They're not great moisturizers. This was pretty good, and the reason I'm drawing your attention to it is because it is good within six months of opening and I opened it in December so I don't want to use it anymore on my skin. It's important to pay attention to those little jars, how many months after opening the product is good for. Oils can degrade and become more irritating. I'm not going to throw this away, I'll end up using it to get sticky labels off and things like that, but I'm not going to use it on my skin anymore."

"I don't normally use facial oils because oils by themselves don't really lock in moisture, but I've been using this Black Rice Facial Oil anytime I have peeling or flaky skin, and on chapped lips, and it works really well to soften and smooth the flaky skin without disrupting the skin barrier. The only ingredient is rice bran oil I believe, and I feel like it does have a bit of an aroma to it. I like the size of the bottle too since you don't need a ton. I've been liking it, it's nice."

"This is just rice bran oil, which seems relatively innocuous. Rice bran oil is frequently in moisturizers, so you don't necessarily need this. This is not something you need in your life, but it would be useful if you have a lot of flakes, since a facial oil like this can help dislodge shedding skin cells and leave a softening emollient effect behind."
