    What the gurus are saying

This stick glides on almost moist and cooling rather than dry or powdery, making reapplication seamless without tugging or white cast, and stays genuinely weightless even layered repeatedly. The curved shape reaches all angles, and a mattifying ingredient called Air Fence absorbs oil and sebum without a minty feel or drying quality. Gurus praise it for touch-ups over makeup throughout the day and note the airless pump design minimizes oxidization risk, though portability and ease of reapplication were what made it stand out most in their daily routines.

"This one from Haruharu Wonder their black bamboo daily soothing sunshield I absolutely love it. It is so effortlessly glidy when I use this there is no tugging. A lot of times with these more waxy looking sticks you know it takes a few tugs to kind of get it going and even then it just feels like dry and this feels almost as I'm gliding it almost moist. It's also cooling as you apply it and I love that cooling sensation especially for spring and summer the hotter warmer months. The other thing is it is legitimately weightless. I mean I can go over the same spot over and over again and it just kind of it's just not there. It also seems to have a really really nice blurring effect everything kind of just gets smoothed out. So this I've been using constantly for reapplication and it's been perfect."

"This is a chemical filter. Again, they've gone for one that's not FDA approved. They've gone for diethylamino hydroxybenzyl benzoate. Again, we need to wait a few years actually to get more data on this to see how it's going to affect my skin of color family. So, for me, I'm just like just go with things that have been used for decades and we have a lot of data on versus newer filters, which might be nice, but it's like it's just unnecessary, you know, for me. I'm going to say let's just wait a little bit before I tell you about this one."

"I like to use stick sunscreens for touch ups over makeup, but this one is actually surprisingly not a good one for that purpose, it moves your makeup around too much. It does tug on your skin a bit at first like most sun sticks, but once you get it going it glides really well. I actually used this as my base sunscreen, and I do like this one, that's why it's going in the good category."

"The Haruharu Wonder Black Bamboo Daily Soothing Sunshield glides really nicely, applying it heavily it was gliding beautifully on my skin. It doesn't have tinosorb M, so there's absolutely no white cast, and it's a fragrance free formula. It evened out my glow factor too, since in my opinion all Korean sunscreens have a bit of a dewy factor to them."

"For on the go, I like to use the Haruharu Wonder Black Bamboo Daily Soothing Sunshield. SPF 50+ PA++++. Chemical filters again. That leaves that natural not too matte, not too greasy finish on the skin, and, of course, easy to reapply on the go. That's why I love a sunscreen stick. And the curved shape enables you to get into all the crevices, which I love in a sunscreen stick. Like all Haruharu products, it is, of course, cruelty free. We have their Air fence, which is like a mattifying and cooling ingredient without feeling like minty. It's like a powdery ingredient that helps absorb all that oil, excess sebum, maybe the kind of greasy look that you get from reapplying sunscreen over and over, but it doesn't leave a white cast. Ectoin and Betaine for hydration and moisturization whilst helping the skin barrier. And then Niacinamide and Adenosine for soothed, glowy skin. This is actually an airless pump, so there's very little risk of oxidization. So an amazing combination for at home and on the go."

"This is their Black Bamboo Daily Soothing Sunshield. Haruharu Wonder is a brand that really focus on sustainability and kind of influencing us to make small but effective changes in our skincare routine. And this is why this sunscreen is so perfect for my journey. This is going to be my new habit, applying it throughout the day when I should. It's perfect to carry around with me. It fits in my car, it fits in my coat pocket. It fits in my trouser pocket. It's suggested that you reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. Yes, even over makeup. And there's a way to do it, and that's extremely easy to do with this stick kind of form. There's no stickiness, there's no tackiness. There's no getting it all over your hands. The Black Bamboo Daily Soothing Sunshield in particular is a really beautiful, soft, powdery balm. It is super lightweight, and it's going to prevent oiliness even in super humid environments. This is the one for makeup prep in humid environments. It can be used everywhere on the go. So face, arms, hands, neck, legs, other places you want to put sunscreen because it also has amazing ingredients that look after your skin as you apply the product throughout the day. We're talking things like Niacinamide and Fermented Bamboo Extract. And yes, you can absolutely reapply this over your makeup."
