This is from Good Molecules, they're made here in San Francisco. It's so inexpensive, just $15. This is actually a new active for you to try in your routine: tranexamic acid, or TXA, which is actually used in emergency medicine if someone comes in with a gunshot wound or major hemorrhaging, they get tranexamic acid, but it actually works as a discoloration corrector as well. "This serum is meant to help with dark spots and pigmentation and even out skin tone, and it works well. The new version has increased the active ingredient, cetyl tranexamate mesylate, by 50 percent, from 2 percent to 3 percent, which they're saying has more penetration and works better on skin without increasing irritation. They removed butylene glycol and phenoxyethanol, which can be irritating for some people. The new formula goes on smoother and absorbs better. It's much more milky and creamy and pearlescent, and it soaks into the skin and absorbs better than the old one. It goes in almost immediately and dries down without any tacky or greasy feeling. The new formula works a little bit faster than the old one, and those who have used it love it a lot better. I appreciated that they were able to find ways to make it better and to make the packaging less environmentally taxing."

This has tetraceutic TX vector which is a form of tranexamic acid that is supposed to penetrate deeper into the skin. It also has niacinamide which stops pigmentation from spreading. What I also love about this is that it contains niacinamide. For evening, this is a fantastic formula if you want something that is gentle on the skin and non-offensive. There aren't any majorly harsh actives in here that could cause the skin to do a 180, and you're looking for something that has those benefits in a nice night serum. This is an inexpensive and affordable but effective option."
