What the gurus are saying

Experts found it cleanses effectively without stripping the skin, and one noted it works well for double cleansing when wearing makeup or as a weekly mask treatment. However, a split emerges on everyday use: some praised the texture and gentle action, while another felt it leans slightly drying compared to other options and works better as a seasonal choice for oily or sweaty skin rather than a daily staple. One concern surfaced about mold in some units, so anyone considering it may want to inspect the product upon arrival.

"This cleanser is gentle but it does its job of cleansing the skin without stripping it. I like that with this cleanser you could also double cleanse with it, so you can use it twice when you're wearing makeup to remove your makeup and then use it again to make sure you got all the nooks and crannies."

"The Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Cleanser was another one I heard a lot about with mold in it and people took photos of it and then emailed them and got another one returned."

"This feels slightly drying in comparison to the Avocado cleanser. It's not drying. Like you could use this with oily skin you'll be absolutely fine. They say it's an effective yet gentle 3-in-1 bouncy makeup eraser, cleanser and deep clarifying mask with Blueberry Extract which is an antioxidant that can help calm inflammation, Hyaluronic Acid and AHAs as well as a gentle exfoliant. My skin loves this in Summer when I am excessively oily and sweaty. And it does make a nice mask, you just leave it on, rinse away and your skin feels untouched. However, as a daily cleanser, in comparison, I don't think I would use this anymore. The Blueberry Bounce Cleanser isn't an old fashioned cleanser but in comparison to the Avocado one it feels like a bit dated. But it's definitely one I'll keep hanging around for when I am excessively oily or when I'm sweaty in Summer."
