"I usually use it as a facial oil in the evening but when I started using it on my cuticles and dedicating to using it actually three times a day, it is so dry here in Colorado in the winter with the heat on. If I do it, my cuticles look really nice. If I forget it, they don't. I have used past cuticle oils, sunflower oils, base fancy cuticle oils, nothing works like good old-fashioned castor oil. It has also given me great confidence in wanting to show my hands because it keeps my cuticles from splitting and peeling and getting so raggedy looking. Sometimes in the winter they'll bleed if I'm not really diligent about keeping them moisturized, and castor oil has been the trick."

"Castor oil, especially 100% virgin cold pressed organic hexane free, isn't supposed to break you out, it's not supposed to clog your pores, it's actually supposed to help clear up acne. I am very acne prone and I have combination skin, and I have never broken out from castor oil. This can help to clear acne and just get giving more of that clear canvas and that more even canvas as well as this can help with discoloration. It has anti-inflammatory properties, so if you're somebody with redness, you have sensitive skin, you have that compromised skin barrier, your skin is inflamed, this can help to calm everything down.
