What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this serum as a exceptional value pick that punches above its price point. The standout ingredient is beta glucan, which reviewers repeatedly highlight for its dual hydrating and soothing properties, with some arguing it outperforms hyaluronic acid by doing more than pure humectation. It's celebrated as especially effective for sensitive, red, or irritated skin and noted for its lightweight, layerable texture that works well morning or night. The overall sentiment is that this is a dependable workhorse serum worth repurchasing.

"Their stressless serum is also great for sensitive skin. So, if you have sensitive skin that gets red, dry, flaky, anything like that, stressless is really nice. Betaglucan is also the secret anti-aging ingredient. Most people think of it as a humectant and a soothing ingredient, but its secret powers are also anti-aging, helping with fine lines and wrinkles, and it's actually been studied and shown to be efficient and effective for that."

Best Calming & Soothing Skincare Products to Help with Redness, Retinization, and Irritation
"Coming in at 12 bucks is the Geek & Gorgeous Stressless Serum, a super lightweight serum you can use for daytime or evening or both. It's great to use in conjunction with other products because it's just got a super light texture so it layers well. I think this is my second or third bottle of it, so just a really nice lightweight gel texture serum. In here we've got beta glucan, which is great as a humectant, soothing ingredient, antioxidant. Then we've got madecassoside, which is a derivative from centella, a compound from centella rather, that's great for wound healing and collagen production, great for your skin."

"Beta glucan is a star of this show with the Geek & Gorgeous Stressless Serum. Beta glucan's a great antioxidant with hydrating and soothing benefits. Even small amounts of beta glucan can help hydrate skin and even better than hyaluronic acid, and it also has soothing wound healing benefits to skin. Beta glucan in my opinion is superior to hyaluronic acid. I really prefer it in it because it's just got other good things that it does as opposed to hyaluronic acid, which is a great humectant, but beta glucan is that and it does other good stuff."
