"This is still an A plus product that I absolutely love. It's also the cheapest on this list too so if you're looking for a budget friendly calming and soothing serum this could really work. This uses beta glucan and Metacast-Aide as the two key ingredients to calm and soothe. Both these are wonderful skincare ingredients that'll give you a relatively quick turnaround when it comes to minimizing irritation redness and sensitivity. It is so lightweight on the skin like it sinks after 10 seconds like that you barely know you've applied it. So if you're someone that likes a lightweight calming serum I definitely think this could be the winner. I say it's a cost effective option and I find that I use this twice a day and one bottle of this will last me like a month and a half so really it's a good investment. It's one of those products that will give you a light touch of hydration all that calming and soothing and do so with that budget in mind. "You've got your A-pad, which is your azelaic acid. That's the key thing. You've got some calming and soothing. I would say keep it at that because actually your risk with rosacea is you can use a lot of ingredients to calm it down but the risk is if you use too many you end up inflaming it and you end up having the opposite to what you were hoping for."

"This is the soft serum that I will use year round. It's great in summer because it's super lightweight but will help minimize any risk of increased sensitivity from sun exposure. This is a great lightweight summer option but will work just as well in the cooler winter months too. What makes this special is it not only just takes centella asiatica but it also takes individual compounds within centella asiatica and adds more of them to it, so you've got a blend of different compounds harnessed from centella asiatica to really dial up the effectiveness of it. "This actually contains beta glucans and medicide, great ingredients to calm and soothe. I don't think this is the best calming serum on the market, no, but it's up there amongst some of the other great options. If you're shopping Geek & Gorgeous anyway and you've been tempted by some of the others and you want something to calm and soothe the skin, it's worth throwing this in your basket. It works really well, it's really well formulated. I'm not going to declare it to be like the best calming serum, top in class, but it's definitely a great well formulated product that I think is great for redness prone skin, very sensitive skin. Use this and you'll just see that everything reaches an equilibrium that little bit quicker and your skin is less irritated. When my skin's going through it and feels a little sensitive, a little of this just works every time."

This is a wonderful beta-glucan and Metacast-Aide infused serum, and it just does everything for your skin. I think it's just a great addition to any skincare routine. If your skin's going through it, here in the northern hemisphere it's winter, it's cooler, my skin tends to be more dryness prone, a little bit more irritated, this is like an instant fix for that. It's a simple formula so if your skin is very sensitive but you're also having irritation, sometimes more simple is the way to go, especially for easily irritated skin. Simple is better. In here we've got saccharide isomeric, we've got beta-glucan. I love beta-glucan, it is an amazing ingredient and it's great for soothing skin, it's a good humectant and also can help brighten skin up, amazing ingredient. And then last but not least we've got Metacast-Aide which comes from SEL otica that has skin healing, wound healing properties in it. The texture of this stuff is wonderful and it just soaks into skin super easily. A little bit of it goes a long way and it's really affordable. You can pretty much add this into any routine pretty easily. I love this one and beta-glucan and Metacast-Aide together are even better, they can help really protect your skin."

"Coming in at 12 bucks is the Geek & Gorgeous Stress Less Serum, a super lightweight serum you can use it for daytime you can use it for evening you can use it for both. It's great to use in conjunction with other products because it's just got a super light texture so it layers well. I think this is my second, second or third bottle of it, so just a really nice lightweight gel texture serum. In here we've got beta-glucan which is great, a humectant soothing ingredient, antioxidant. Then we've got Metacast-Aide, which is a derivative from centella, a compound from centella rather, that's great for wound healing, collagen production, great for your skin."

"Beta glucan is a star of this show with the Geek & Gorgeous Stress Less Serum. Beta glucan's a great antioxidant, hydrating and soothing benefits, and even small amounts of beta glucan can help hydrate skin and even better than hyaluronic acid. It also has soothing wound healing benefits to skin. Beta glucan in my opinion is superior to hyaluronic acid. I really prefer it in it because it's just got other good things that it does as opposed to hyaluronic acid which is a great humectant, but beta glucan is that and it does other good stuff."

So it's also worth checking out in my opinion."
