    What the gurus are saying

This stays stable and clear because Geek & Gorgeous manufactures it fresh regularly, while most vitamin C serums turn brown and lose potency once the bottle opens. The formula packs ascorbic acid, ferulic, and vitamin E (the ingredients behind expensive serums) for about $12, and gurus pick it over versions costing $200 or more. Keep it in the fridge to make it last even longer.

"Their vitamin C serum is absolutely wonderful. Can't say enough good things about it and they manufacture it regularly so it's made fresh. I think they manufacture it weekly. Don't quote me on that exactly, but I believe they manufacture it weekly."

"The Geek and Gorgeous one is wonderful. I love it, honestly. At this point, if I had a choice to have that one or SkinCeuticals, say the price didn't matter, I think I'd still pick the Geek and Gorgeous. I just love it that much, and it's always fresh."
The Best Vitamin C Serum Alternatives to the $185 Skinceuticals C E + Ferulic Serum
"This one is a very close dupe. It's 15% ascorbic acid, vitamin E, and ferulic acid. Wonderful. No fragrance, very fresh. Actually, out of all these, this is probably the one I've repurchased the most. And honestly, if I had a choice between this or the Skin Suiticles, I would choose the Geek and Gorgeous, even if they were both $185 or if they were both $14. I've tried every single product from this brand and I have not been let down by any of them. All of them are great."

"It's 13 bucks for an ounce. [Ascorbic] acid for antioxidants is one of the most studied, if not the most studied and researched. It's great for brightening your skin, protecting your skin. If you use this under sunscreen, it's great. It also contains ferulic acid and vitamin E, which are the trademarks for a great vitamin C serum. It's lovely and it's really affordable compared to a lot of the other ones."

"This contains vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid. It contains ferulic acid, vitamin E, the trifecta. Using this in your morning routine on a daily basis will help with anti-aging, help with collagen production, all of that good stuff. So it's highly worth checking out, especially given the price is so affordable."

"No daytime morning routine would be complete without vitamin C while sunscreen but vitamin C it protects your skin and helps your sunscreen work better and this brand makes it fresh and it's super affordable and that's the Geek & Gorgeous Seaglow Serum. I actually brought my esthetician bottle of this because I personally think everyone needs to try this stuff especially if they're into skincare. It's so affordable, they make it fresh and I just love it and it's got the perfect list of ingredients and it really does work great. Water texture but it lasts a long time without going bad unlike a lot of other vitamin C's that disintegrate or oxidize quickly."

"The Geek & Gorgeous Seaglow, I think it's 10 or 12 bucks. This stuff is amazing. I've compared it to $100 vitamin C serums, I've compared to $200 vitamin C serums and $300 vitamin C serums and this one comes in first place every single time. I love it. It's amazing and it saves money. Keep it in the fridge. It lasts longer. I love this stuff. So I feel lucky that I found something that is really affordable and it's amazing."

My Most Repurchased Skincare Products - My Most Loved & Used Skincare
"This is the Seaglow Serum, which is their vitamin C serum. This stuff is wonderful. I'm using it right now underneath my moisturizer and sunscreen. It's just great. They make it fresh so it always arrives clear, and this bottle has been open for a while and it's still very clear. I can't say enough good things about it. It's super affordable in my opinion. If I had to choose between this and SkinCeuticals, I'd probably choose this, just all things being equal, because I know this is gonna be fresh and I know it's gonna last a long time. This stuff is wonderful. It's got all the same ingredients, ascorbic acid. It's wonderful for your skin. It contains a sweet spot of 15 and the pH of this stuff is right where you want it to be. It is wonderful. If you haven't tried it, highly recommend giving it a try because I love it, love it, love it, and I've tried dozens of vitamin C's."

"Geek & Gorgeous is a Hungarian brand that is just killing it, their products are incredible. Their Seaglow is a lightweight watery 15% vitamin C with ferulic and vitamin E, and it only comes in at about $12. I personally don't love a watery serum because I find it hard to use and to get it from here to there, but it's a lovely serum and it's at an incredible price."

"This is the Seaglow by Geek and Gorgeous, stunning, just stunning is the one word that I would use for that. All around perfect, love the price point, love the formulation. You get some additional antioxidants in here, so it's great to protect the skin, and I think this is super budget friendly. This will last you like 3 months before it starts to oxidize because they make it fresh every week, so providing you get through the product in 3 months, which most of us will, you'll have no problems with this. I think this product, 15% ascorbic acid made fresh, is better than the Ordinary 15% ethylated ascorbic acid. Yes, it won't last as long, but as long as you're using it within that 3-month period, I really don't think you need to stress or worry about it. This is just the best budget friendly all-rounder."
