"The Geek and Gorgeous Perfectly Clear Serum is a really nice alternative to the [Paula's Choice] 2% liquid exfoliant. It's much more affordable. It's got a really short ingredient list and it's really friendly for oily or acne prone skin or both, or just, you know, pores, clearing up pores and things like that. It's got a short ingredient list, 2% salicylic acid, fragrance-free. I really love it. I've repurchased it many times and it's super affordable. I think it's like eight bucks. So much more affordable than the [Paula's Choice]. Although it's a 1 oz, a little bit of this one goes a long way. It is chef's kiss. Really nice. If you haven't tried it, it's wonderful. Or you could apply it like a spot treatment as well. So, I highly recommend that. Geek and Gorgeous. Everything from them is wonderful. I have yet to be disappointed."

"This is the Geek & Gorgeous Perfectly Clear salicylic acid. It's great because it'll just smooth out everything. Great if you've got a more acne-prone oily skin type. Salicylic acid can be a game changer, but this also has amino acids in here which are going to help regulate oil levels in the skin, and it's packed full of calming and soothing ingredients too. So this next exfoliator and a soothing serum all in one. It's drugstore, it's amazing. If you've got an oily skin type, make sure that this is in your skincare routine at least once or twice a week. If you've got a drier skin type, you might want to use lactic acid in a 5 or 10 concentration instead."

"I've tried loads of them and one two percent salicylic acid doesn't perform the same as another two percent. This is my secret to eradicating blackheads. Get this product in your routine. I'm mad about it and it's worked on my blackheads like no other salicylic acid. This has a two percent concentration of salicylic acid but it also contains some amino acids which studies have proven can actually help regulate oil levels in the skin. If you're someone that has super oily skin and the oil levels have gone into overdrive and that could be contributing to your congestion and blackheads, this is really going to help. The salicylic acid will decongest the pores, those amino acids will regulate that oil level production, so you're getting a two in one. It also has some calming and soothing ingredients so this is a lot less irritating than other salicylic acids in my opinion. It's also super affordable in drugstore. It goes onto the skin so nicely. It's actually calming rather than irritating like some of its other competitors. Twice a week I'll use this all over the face just to smooth everything out and give a good exfoliation, and then every day I will target it on the areas where I have congestion, my nose and my chin specifically. Over time this will work in like a month to really almost half the number of blackheads you have. It's an absolute game changer."
