"I'm going to use the Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration, which is a mist kind of a toner. You can use this either way, apparently when it first came out it was in a toner bottle and now they repackaged it as a mist because apparently a lot of people requested it to be as a mist. I kind of let this do the heavy duty work because sometimes if I use a lot of products the night before, I'll use a light mild cleanser in the morning, but my skin tends to get pretty dry. So I find a splash with water and then using a toner works well for me."

"This one's really nice for hydrating your skin. It was initially a toner when they released it and then they changed it up and turned it into a face mist which is nice. I liked it as a toner too but it's really nice for soothing skin, calming skin, nice for use after cleansing. It applies pretty evenly as well. "It's about nine bucks, fragrance free, alcohol free. It's got panthenol in there. It's got urea which is a really great hydrating ingredient. It's got lanolin. Then it's got rice protein and vitamin E for antioxidant hydration. Really nice product and super affordable. I'll mist my face the second I get out of the shower now that it's winter and it's a little bit drier. So the second I get out of the shower, before I pat my face off, before I dry it, I mist it with this. And usually my face kind of dries as I'm putting my body lotion and getting prepped for that. And this adds some moisture to it. Fragrance-free, really nice gentle formula."

"This is the Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration. When you're using a retinoid, because this routine would work with whatever retinoid you use, you want to maximize hydration. Retinoids can be a little drying on the skin, so anything you can do to boost the levels of hydration is going to help. This is one of my favorite packs. It's full of amino acids. Just give it a spritz and it refreshes and hydrates everything. Make sure your face is cat hair free before you spritz this, but it's a great way to start everything off. I would say make sure that you always apply your serums onto damp skin. They'll work that little bit better. It's a cheeky hack for getting a little extra bang for your buck. Even if it's just water, literally if you just splash some water on your skin, just make sure your skin is damp when you go on to apply your serums and you'll get a better application."

They do it in a standard toner and they've also started doing it in a spray too, depending on what form you want your amino acids to take, but it's the same formula in both. This is packed full of great amino acids alongside some other calming and soothing ingredients. You don't actually need to spend any more money, just swap out your existing toner for the Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration and that way you're getting your toning action, you're also getting your amino acids and it's going to complement your peptides beautifully. I'd say this pairing is best for people that have dry dehydrated skin who want to get some extra hydration, amino acids and peptides like absolute perfection."

Once I've used this I'll rinse it out then I'll often actually decant other products into this because the mist spray is just so good, it gives a really nice fine mist. In here you've got panthenol. They don't get enough love or appreciation because actually they can do so much. I think if you're looking for maximum hydration in the skin, amino acids are where it's at, and it can be really hard to find a nice blend of different ones in a single product, that's what you get here. So they call it liquid hydration, that's literally what it is. If after you've cleansed you just spritz this onto the skin you will find that your hydration level goes through the roof and the rest of your skincare will just apply that little bit better. In here you haven't got so many ingredients which I like, they're keeping it simple but hyper effective. I genuinely think this could work for everyone."

"If you just want to dial up the hydration in the skin, liquid hydration is great. You could use both together if you're feeling bougie, but it's not necessary. I tend to use them interchangeably. On the days where my skin's been just a little sensitive, I'll give a spritz of this liquid hydration and it just feels so good. I don't know whether they do these spray bottles anymore. I get the traditional toner and just top this one up, sterilizing it between each use. The toner is amazing and I would definitely recommend it."
