"The Hydration Station is much more lightweight. Great if you have slightly oily or combination skin. It's super inexpensive and packed full of really beneficial ingredients. You've got squalane, you've got lipids. These are all going to be great hydrating and nourishing ingredients that deliver what you expect from a moisturizer without breaking the bank. I have been using these for the past two years. They've never steered me wrong. I love the fact they're a convenient size. You can throw these into your handbag or into your car and use them as a hand cream during the day. You can use them as part of your morning and your evening skincare routine. They're not packed full of actives, so they work alongside everything else. Just really affordable, cruelty-free, and I think leading the way when it comes to quality moisturizers."

"It's got glycerin, my favorite humectant, and it's also got ectoin in here, which is one of the very best calming, soothing, and preventing transepidermal water loss ingredients you're going to find. We want to stop the water evaporating from our skin into the atmosphere around us, and using things like ectoin and other things like glycerin and humectants can be one of the best ways of achieving that. If you're looking to maximize the hydration but want something that's super lightweight and invisible on the skin, I think this is a really great option. It's also super affordable. It's much lighter than maybe you'd expect from such a high performance moisturizer and it just disappears without a trace. Whatever your skin type you can use this, but I would say if you've got a very dryness-prone skin type you might want to go for its sister product instead. As an allrounder, it's stunning. It's not sticky in the slightest, so it's a great hand cream and just all around an amazing moisturizer."

"The Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station is very much summer skin friendly. You put this on skin and it's like lightweight, it's gel-like in its consistency and it disappears like it's gone without a trace. If you let it sink in for like 20 seconds there is very little sense of it even being on the skin, it's that lightweight, but it does pack a punch. It's got a six percent concentration of glycerin, one of my favorite humectants, which draws in and retains moisture within itself, which is an amazing way of just preserving the moisture that the skin already has within it. It's also got some great calming and soothing ingredients, so if you find that your skin becomes a little bit more irritation prone in summer this could be a great option. It's one of those products that you can layer on top of itself, so if you find that one layer isn't quite enough, leave it a minute, put another thin layer on top and it kind of just doubles down on the hydration. It has a nice plumping effect too, with the glycerin just soaking up all that moisture and plumping itself out, so it has some very immediate short-term anti-aging benefits. It's a gorgeous product and it's one of those that's in the right size tube that you can throw it in your purse, in the car, wherever and reapply during the day if you need to."

"The hydration station is the lighter weight moisturizer for more oily skin that has a lighter finish on it. It has a gel finish to it and it's packed full of ectoin. Ectoin's great as being a barrier boosting ingredient. So if you're somebody that really wants to improve the skin barrier health, but also have a really nice and lightweight level of moisturization, this is a great option."

"This is a great allrounder, just a great staple moisturizer to have in your skincare collection. It gives you great hydration, won't clog the pores, won't break you out. It's got 6% glycerin, which is my favorite of the humectants. It just soaks up all that moisture and envelops the skin in like a dose of moisture and plumps it out at the same time. This is one of my favorite moisturizers for the price point. It's also a nice size, so you can use it as hand cream, use it as face cream, whatever. If you have an oilier skin type like me just go in for the Hydration Station, the oily skin friendly one, just use that. You don't need to have the heavy duty one. These are amazing, they're super affordable, a little goes a long way because these are super concentrated so you only need the smallest amount to actually deliver that hydration."

"It's very simple but very nice moisturizer. So eventually I became very interested in peptides and antioxidants during my daytime routine. I've repurchased this many times now. It's probably my fifth or sixth tube of it. I love it. It's nice enough for daytime during the nighttime during the winter. It's not quite hydrated enough, but for the daytime, it works perfectly under sunscreen. Perfectly. This one's just full of great antioxidants and anti-aging and peptides, veratrol, sororbic acid. And it's really, really affordable. And it's great to travel with. So anytime I travel, it's usually going to be the moisturizer I take because the packaging is really convenient."

"For dry dehydrated skin as well as damaged skin barriers, it's also vegan and for exciting ingredients in here we've got squalane, ceramides, green tea, and hyaluronic acid. It's just a wonderful moisturizer. So if you suffer from dry skin or dehydrated skin, it's a wonderful moisturizer with no fragrance in it, no scent in it. It's a lovely product."

"Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station Moisturizer is just a nice basic simple moisturizer. If you have normal to oily skin, it's great, or for summer. This one's really nice for me for summer when I don't need quite as much moisture. In addition to ectoine, this one also has Bisabolol, which is a great soothing ingredient. It's got Allantoin, which is a great soothing ingredient, and xylitol, which is a sugar-derived humectant, a really nice product. It has a really nice texture to it and ends up being a nice non-sticky finish."

"This is one of my favorite gel cream moisturizers to recommend because it is just so hydrating and really refreshing for the skin. It uses 5% of Glycerin, which is a very good hydrator for the skin. What's interesting about glycerin is that it creates a reservoir of moisture or hydration or water right in the skin. Glycerin doesn't just feel watery and hydrating when you put it on, as you consistently use glycerin, it actually builds up the hydration in your skin. So if you were to stop using glycerin in your routine, you would actually still maintain higher levels of hydration in your skin than you would have before you started using it. It really contributes to meaningful deep lasting hydration in the skin. They have combined the 5% of Glycerin with 1% of Ectoin, which has that similar hydration shell effect where it really gets in there and surrounds every single skin cell with hydration."

"The Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station Moisturizer uses 6% Glycerin, which is an incredible skin hydrator. One of the things that impresses me most about glycerin is its ability to create a reservoir of hydration in the skin, which means it helps your skin stay hydrated over time as you continue to use it in your routines. It helps maintain hydration in your skin even when you're not using the products, so you get this really refreshing, cooling, very hydrating sensation with your moisturizer that dives in really deep, replenishes the skin, plumps it up. Then you're getting that traditional kind of cream right on top. It's still very light, it's very breathable, it's not overly occlusive. It gently hugs everything in and holds the rest of your skincare in place while still allowing everything to breathe. I think this moisturizer is better for combination and oily skin folks. If you're leaning towards the dry side, it may not be enough for you."

"Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station is a really interesting very simple moisturizer that focuses in on 6% Glycerin. Glycerin is probably one of the best humectants for the skin, it really brings in a lot of hydration, and it's actually a soothing ingredient too. It's so beneficial for the skin. 6% is actually quite a bit of Glycerin, and they're combining it with ectoin, which is a really potent antioxidant. It's a really well-rounded ingredient with anti-inflammatory benefits, it helps to protect the skin from UV damage, it helps to strengthen your Skin Barrier, and it has anti-aging properties. It's great to find it married with this really simple ingredient like glycerin. We also have Bisabolol and allantoin which are great soothing ingredients. The texture is a really interesting texture because it's a gel-like cream texture that bursts into hydration."
