"My heart will always be with retinal, which for me I just believe is genuinely the best of the retinoids available over the counter. I based this on price versus formula versus results, there isn't a cheaper retinal serum on the market than this that will still deliver you those same next level results. The formula is so good they could honestly charge £50 for this and I would still buy it, it's £14, it doesn't get cheaper than that. "Retinaldehyde is my favorite anti-aging ingredient that you can get over the counter. It's the strongest retinoid you can get over the counter. It only has to undergo one conversion to get to retinoic acid, which is the prescription strength form. The A-Game serum has three versions starting with 0.5, the lowest strength, then they have a 0.1 and then a 0.2. The 0.5 and 0.1 are under $20. The 0.2 is just above $20 and it is worth it if you need to scale up to that to get better results. This is a very lightweight consistency serum. It's yellow in color. We love yellow when it comes to retinaldehyde or retinoids because yellow means retinaldehyde. It's naturally yellow in color. So there's no dyes or anything in this and it just rubs in very nicely, very lightweight on the skin. You use this at night to get to work on our skin. Retinoids are amazing for helping fine lines be improved, helping wrinkles, helps your skin texture, can fade dark spots, helps build collagen in your skin. So it is the workhorse anti-aging ingredient. It's so good. It's actually so rare to find one brand that has multiple different strengths of a retinoid. But I love that because that allows us to start low and go slow, build up as we need, and that is going to help protect our skin barrier and really prevent a lot of side effects that people get so often from retinoids that prevents them from getting benefits."
