"The Hydration Station is much more lightweight. Great if you have slightly oily or combination skin. Super inexpensive and packed full of really beneficial ingredients. You've got squalane, you've got lipids. These are all going to be great hydrating and nourishing ingredients that deliver what you expect from a moisturizer without breaking the bank. I have been using these for the past two years. They've never steered me wrong. I love the fact they're a convenient size. You can throw these into your handbag or into your car and use them as a hand cream during the day. You can use them as part of your morning and your evening skincare routine. They're not packed full of actives, so they work alongside everything else. Just really affordable, cruelty-free, and I just think leading the way when it comes to quality moisturizers."

"Glycerin is my favorite humectant and it's also got ectonin in here, which is one of the very best calming, soothing, and preventing transepidermal water loss ingredients you're going to find. We want to stop the water evaporating from our skin into the atmosphere around us and using things like ectonin and other things like glycerin and humectants can be one of the best ways of achieving that. If you're looking to maximize the hydration but want something that's super lightweight and invisible on the skin, I think this is a really great option. It's also super affordable. It applies much lighter than maybe you'd expect from such a high performance moisturizer and it just disappears without a trace. Whatever your skin type, you can use this, but I would say if you've got a very dryness-prone skin type, you might want to go for its sister product instead. It's an all-rounder, stunning, and my top tip actually is if you suffer with dry hands throughout the day, throw this in your handbag and apply this as a hand cream throughout the day. It doesn't get sticky in the slightest so you won't get that film over all your keyboards and everything. It's a great hand cream and just all around amazing moisturizer."

"The Geek and Gorgeous Hydration Station is very much Summer Skin friendly. You put this on skin and it's like lightweight, it's gel-like in its consistency and it disappears without a trace. If you let it sink in for like 20 seconds there is very little sense of it even having been on the skin, it's that lightweight, but it does pack a punch. It's got a six percent concentration of Glycerin, one of my favorite humectants, which draws in and retains moisture within itself, an amazing way of just preserving the moisture that the skin already has within it. It's also got some great calming and soothing ingredients, so if you find that your skin becomes a little bit more irritation prone in summer this could be a great option. It's one of those products that you can layer on top of itself, so if you find that one layer isn't quite enough, leave it a minute, put another thin layer on top and it kind of just doubles down on the hydration that you're gonna see. It has a nice plumping effect too. It has some very immediate short-term anti-aging benefits. It's a gorgeous product and it's one of those that's in the right size tube that you can throw it in your purse, in the car, wherever, and reapply during the day if you need to."

"The Hydration Station is the one for more oily skin that has a lighter finish on it. It's a lightweight moisturizer with a gel finish and it's packed full of ectoin. Ectoin's great as being a barrier boosting ingredient. So if you're somebody that really wants to improve the skin barrier health, but also have a really nice and lightweight level of moisturizer, this would be good for you."

"This is a great allrounder, just a great staple moisturizer to have in your skincare collection. Give you great hydration, won't clog the pores, won't break you out. It's got 6% glycerin which is my favorite of the humectants. It just soaks up all that moisture and envelops the skin in a dose of moisture and plumps it out at the same time. This is one of my favorite moisturizers for the price point. It's great, it's also a nice size, you can use it as hand cream, use it as face cream, whatever. I would go for the Hydration Station if you have an oily skin type."

The Hydration Station contains ectoin, which is the best calming, soothing, and hydrating ingredient you will ever find alongside other humectants, but it's lightweight, it almost feels a bit serum-like. If you have an oilier skin type like me, just go in for the Hydration Station, the oily skin-friendly one, just use that. I actually think if you're somebody that has super dry skin, I would buy both. I would put a small layer of the oily skin-friendly one, the Hydration Station, and then I would put a slightly thicker layer of the Happier Barrier on top. That's because the Hydration Station is lightweight, so combining the two together is that sweet spot that really at an affordable price could help you get on top of your dry skin."

"The Geek and Gorgeous Hydration Station moisturizer is just a nice basic simple moisturizer. I would say if you have drier skin, I would go with their Happy Barrier. If you have normal to oily skin, their Hydration Station is great, or for summer. This one's really nice for me for summer when I don't need quite as much moisture. In addition to ectoine, this one also has Bisabolol, which is a great soothing ingredient. It's got Allantoin, which is a great soothing ingredient, and xylitol, which is a sugar-derived humectant, a really nice product. Really nice texture to it. Ends up being a nice non-sticky finish."

"This is one of my favorite gel cream moisturizers to recommend because it is just so hydrating and really refreshing for the skin. It uses 5% glycerin, which is a really good hydrator for the skin. What's interesting about glycerin is that it creates a reservoir of moisture or hydration or water right in the skin. So glycerin doesn't just feel watery and hydrating when you put it on, it actually builds up the hydration in your skin as you consistently use it. If you were to stop using glycerin for some reason, you would actually still maintain higher levels of hydration in your skin than you would have before you started using the glycerin. It really contributes to meaningful deep, long-lasting hydration in the skin. They have combined the 5% glycerin with 1% ectoin, which has that similar hydration shell effect where it really gets in there and surrounds every single skin cell with hydration."

"This is the Geek and Gorgeous Hydration Station moisturizer which uses 6% Glycerin. Glycerin is an incredible skin hydrator, but one of the things that impresses me the most about it is its ability to create a reservoir of hydration in the skin. It helps your skin stay hydrated over time as you continue to use it in your routines, and helps maintain hydration in your skin even when you're not using the products. You get this really refreshing, cooling, very hydrating sensation with your moisturizer that dives in really deep, replenishes the skin, plumps it up. But then we're getting that traditional cream right on top. It's still very light, it's very breathable, it's not overly occlusive either. It gently holds everything in and just kind of slugs everything in and holds the rest of your skin care in place while still allowing everything to breathe. I think this moisturizer is better for combination and oily skin folks. If you're leaning towards the dry side, it may not be enough for you."
