"The Happier Barrier is the slightly thicker option, great if you have dryness-prone skin. It's super inexpensive and packed full of really beneficial ingredients. They put everything on the front which makes it super simple. You've got squalane, you've got lipids. These are all going to be great hydrating and nourishing ingredients that deliver what you expect from a moisturizer without breaking the bank. I have been using these for the past two years. They've never steered me wrong. I love the fact they're a convenient size. You can throw these into your handbag or into your car and use them as a hand cream during the day. You can use them as part of your morning and your evening skincare routine. They're not packed full of actives, so they work alongside everything else. Just really affordable, cruelty-free, and I think leading the way when it comes to quality moisturizers. Well thought through in terms of the formulation that again don't need to break the bank."

So, yeah, if you have blackheads, sebaceous filaments, the little black dots on the nose, and you want them gone, get this. Better than any pore strip, better than any mask that you're going to use. Just massage it into the area for a solid 5 minutes. You'll feel those little plugs coming out. They feel almost grainy on the skin. That's satisfying and it genuinely works. "I use this in two ways. I massage it into my nose, it just helps to take away any blackheads and sebaceous filaments. Use a tiny amount, massage it into the nose three, four times a week, and it'll just pull out all that dirt, debris, and the oil plugs that are congesting our skin. It genuinely works. "This is the Geek and Gorgeous Happier Barrier. This is so good. It's one of the least expensive ectoin containing products you'll ever find. Ectoin is fantastic as it heals the barrier function of the skin. It prevents sun damage in terms of restoring any damage that has already happened. So during the summer, even if we're really on top of our sunscreen game, you will accumulate some sun damage and this can help repair some of it. And ectoin's a great ingredient to kind of do that. So ectoin is a must in my summer skincare routine. This is actually quite a thick moisturizer, so it lends itself well to adding any oils into it."

"The Geek and Gorgeous Happier Barrier is the best of the best. It contains those lipids and oils which are so important for dislodging those sebaceous filaments. It's also got some calming and soothing ingredients in here which is really important for minimizing irritation. It's thick enough that it's going to prevent transepidermal water loss, retaining the moisture levels in the skin, and this delivered so well for me. It's also super inexpensive if you're living in the UK or European Union. Geek and Gorgeous is one of the best brands around, easy to get your hands on, and I think this is the product that I'm going to continue to use going forward. "This is packed full of oils, which if you use a small amount, and I mean a tiny amount, and massage it into the skin over time, it will just pull out some of the oil, the sebaceous filaments, the debris, and the blackheads, leaving your skin looking clear. Do it for like 5 minutes. You have to massage consistently for like 5 minutes to start seeing those results. But you'll actually feel those oil plugs coming out the skin. Ridiculously satisfying. Much more gentle than a pore strip and it actually works. This works better than any pore strip you have ever used. I really like that Geek and Gorgeous have actually taken a different approach and have different base formulations for both of them. I think the Happier Barrier is fantastic for that intense hydration needs. It's also oil based. So it's great if you have a lot of blackheads, sebaceous filaments, and you want to do something called oil pulling. That's where you use an oil-based moisturizer and you massage it into the areas where you have that congestion for about 5 minutes and it actually removes that oil, those plugs, those blackheads from the skin. It genuinely works."

The Happier Barrier is for drier skin types. I actually think if you're somebody that has super dry skin, I would buy both the Happier Barrier and the Hydration Station. I would put a small layer of the Hydration Station and then put a slightly thicker layer of the Happier Barrier on top. The Hydration Station contains ectoin which is the best calming, soothing, and hydrating ingredient you will ever find alongside other humectants, but it's lightweight and almost feels a bit serum-like. Put that on, stick this on top, and dry skin gone."
