What the gurus are saying

Gurus split on whether these deliver real value. Enthusiasts praise the affordability, safety profile, and visible softening of sleep-induced creases with consistent use, though results are slower and less complete than Botox. Skeptics cite the cumulative cost, risk of adhesive allergies with daily use, temporary nature of results, and the fact that stopping use means benefits vanish immediately. Most agree they work best for prevention and static wrinkles, not dynamic expression lines.

"When you're putting an adhesive on the skin every day it does overtime increase your risk for a contact allergy to the adhesive. When you're buying them every day the price does add up over time and I'm not sure how much money you're saving over just doing Botox in that area. Some people don't like needles and that's okay so you can use frownies if you want, but it's not my choice for reducing wrinkles on my forehead."

"I tried the Frownies and the brownies and whatever, it was not for me. I've tried silicone patches and I had weird allergic reactions to them, obviously that's a me issue, that's not a them issue, but they're all temporary effects. I don't think there is value to these things in the anti-aging domain."

"Frownies are basically these silicone patches that sit on top of the skin while you sleep and they have under eye ones, they have little smile line ones, and they even have a chest one and they prevent you from wrinkling. You have to be consistent with them if you stop using them they stop working unlike Botox or a neuromodulator you don't have to think about it but yeah they actually work really well especially if you press your skin into your pillow while you sleep at night and you wake up with creases the Frownies patches actually prevent those and you can use them like 30, 40 times they work really really well. Are they the same as Botox no but do they prevent me from like wrinkling and scrunching my sleep yes."

"I really love it. I think it is so smart, it's such a simple concept, such a simple hack to help relax the forehead. I think that this is very easy to use and it really is a great budget option to start to soften those resting wrinkles. This is not Botox, this is not going to as completely freeze those muscles and work as quickly as Botox. This takes a lot more time and consistency, and you are going to get most of the benefits and results at softening the static wrinkles, not the dynamic wrinkles. Botox really will help you for both static and dynamic, and this one is going to be mostly static wrinkles and a little bit of getting into softening those dynamic wrinkles like I started to experience towards the end of the 30 days. This is virtually risk-free. I had no side effects from this, whereas Botox comes with a lot of potential side effects."

"This product is so affordable, it's not scary like botox, it literally has no side effects. The before and after pictures from their website are literally like botox level results. I am seeing absolute disappearance or extreme softening of these wrinkles. I got this for right around twenty dollars and this has 144 patches in this box, so that's a lot."
