What the gurus are saying

This cream's standout strength is how it instantly tackles dark circles through pigment, making it a solid pick if you want to skip heavy concealer or enhance makeup coverage without adding layers. However, experts split on whether it earns its $49 price tag for long-term skin benefits, one reviewer found the immediate brightening impressive but questioned what it truly does for skin over time, while another felt it lacks the anti-aging ingredients you'd want at that cost.

"Results [...] wise, I'm not really sure what this can do meaningfully to the skin over time, but I know when you have dark circles and when everyone's like why do you look so tired, [...] you're looking for anything right. If you don't want to turn to makeup or maybe you want something to enhance your makeup so you don't have to wear as much concealer, this [...] really stands out because of how they've used the pigment in this. I think you can really combat very dark under eye circles."

"But for $49 I just feel like I would much prefer to use something else that contains more active ingredients so I'm covering a larger area for skin concerns. An eye cream or an eye serum that has maybe a retinol that also has peptides in it, something that addresses multiple skin concerns. This one in my opinion is strictly for brightening and just for moisture. If that is your thing I totally think this is worth it, but that's not what I'm looking for."
