What the gurus are saying

A clinical expert finds Exoomes helpful for calming inflammation and redness in acne-prone and enlarged-pore skin, while also hydrating and controlling oil production, making it versatile across most skin types. The strongest benefit appears to be reinforcing the skin barrier rather than dramatic anti-aging results. It pairs well with in-office treatments like microneedling, though one expert notes that injectable procedures tend to deliver more dramatic outcomes. The read here is still fairly limited, so more independent testing would help round out the picture.

"When it comes to Exoomes, I mainly use it on patients with enlarged pores, lots of inflammation, so redness if they're breaking out. It's good for acne patients as well, to reduce inflammation. I can use it on every patient. It's good for anti-aging but mainly because it's strengthening the skin barrier, which is the most important thing in our skin. So it hydrates it, it controls sebum production, and it's good for pores and hydration. I use it sometimes with microneedling where I could apply it, and I think injections are probably the most effective."

"Yesterday I did Tixel in the office with Nurse Karen at Dr. Markman Monty's office and then we put Exoomes over the top of them."
