What the gurus are saying

The experts who tried it found that the honey blend does help calm eczema patches and promote healing, while the beeswax locks in moisture. That said, a small number of people can develop allergies to either beeswax or honey itself, so anyone with a known sensitivity to either may want to patch-test first or steer clear. The gurus praised the formula for keeping it genuinely medical-grade rather than just any honey product.

"Honey is another ingredient that can be used topically for eczema patches. This can help promote healing and soothe inflammation. I wouldn't just use any honey. I would look for more medical grade honey or Manuka Honey, or really products that incorporate honey. There's a brand called Eczema Honey that I think does a good job with this."

"Eczema Honey has sunflower seed oil, and beeswax helps reduce water loss. Some people do develop allergy to beeswax as well as honey so be aware of that, but yeah I think I liked this when I tried it."
