SKIN Blemish Breakthrough Clarifying Cleanser.

"The Blemish Breakthrough Cleanser claims to both remove makeup and control oil as well as clarify the pores. It looks and feels like your average gel cleanser, maybe a little more on the runny side, and has no scent to it. It froths up even on dry skin and forms a nice firm foam with water. It did sting the eyes a little, so it was only ever used as a morning or second cleanse. It rinses clean with no wash cloth needed, but it felt a tad drying on the skin, which is why it is best suited for oily skins or for summer months. The ingredients targeting breakouts are 1% Salicylic Acid, Zinc PCA for sebum control, and Niacinamide and Tranexamic Acid, though both at much lower concentrations than usual so not much should be expected from them. It also has Glycerin for hydration and effective surfactants, probably the reason it felt a little drying. The 1% Salicylic Acid makes this a good cleanser for oily, congestion prone skin, but it needs to be watched for being too stripping, in which case using it every other day instead is recommended."
