    What the gurus are saying

These eyeliners earn praise for their opacity and crisp, non-muddy lines, a standout quality many modern eyeliners lack. Application is smooth, they last all day, and they're forgiving enough to blend slightly while staying sharp. They come in multiple shades and sharpen easily without breaking.

"I've been using for a while now these eyeliners from e.l.f. in the smoky coal line. I have a white eyeliner that I love that I use on the upper lid on the inner part. And I also have this kind of rust brown that I'm using. I really like those pencils because they're real smooth application. They're a nice striking color. They don't get all muddy or patchy. They're a nice balance between a sharp line that's also forgiving and can kind of smudge a bit. Plus, I like how opaque they are. They don't get muddy or anything like that. Highly recommend them. And they're easy to sharpen. That's the other thing. They're easy to sharpen. I hate makeup pencils where you sharpen and then it like falls out. These sharpen really easily. They're really great quality. I highly recommend them."

"I found not a dupe for that shade, but for that type of product, it's from e.l.f. The only difference is this is more of a blue. It's that opaque color and it lasts a really long time, like all day. Love it. Because all of the dupes that I tried, they'd be kind of muddy. They would not deliver the same crisp line either. I'm really liking it though because it reminds me of this wild blue eyeshadow. I've always been mesmerized by that eye makeup, especially like the under eye liner. I'm liking this blue, this icy blue color."

"I'm still using the e.l.f. eyeliners. Really like them. The smoky coal. If you like an opaque eyeliner, highly suggest these because I find that a lot of the eyeliners these days come out really muddy and messy."

"Darker lip pencil. This is one from e.l.f. It's one of their cream glides."
