"If over-the-counter antiperspirants are not enough, you can get a stronger aluminum chloride solution at 20% via prescription, known as Drysol. It is like Certain Dri but prescription strength, and [...] you can apply it to your soles, your underarms, and other areas where you are constantly sweating."

"The one that I most commonly prescribe is Drysol, a twenty percent aluminum antiperspirant. I have patients put it on dry skin at nighttime, using it five nights in a row the first week, then tapering down over several weeks until they're using it just once a week. For many people that is an excellent plan that leads to significant improvement in their sweating. One challenge with Drysol is that it can be irritating to the skin, so it can't always be used as much as we prescribe it, and if that's the case I just have patients use it as frequently as they can without causing too much irritation."
