What the gurus are saying

The gurus split on this one. Some found it delivers real smoothness and gentler results than harsher exfoliant masks, with effects noticeable right after a weekly use. However, others called it very strong, even aggressive, and noted that a similar formula from The Ordinary costs a tenth of the price and performs just as well. That means anyone with sensitive skin or new to chemical exfoliants may want to patch-test first, and those already happy with a gentler routine should consider whether the cost matches the benefit.

"The Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Baby Facial was very strong for me."

"It's a supercharged exfoliant mask where in 10 minutes it kind of bulldozes through all the dead skin cells on your face, giving you a very satisfying glowing experience afterwards. This product is absolutely not meant for 10-year-olds. The Ordinary AHA BHA Peeling Solution is the most similar experience I've ever been able to find to the Drunk Elephant one, and I actually had better results with that formula than the Sukari Baby Facial. The Ordinary one is a little bit stronger with 5% more exfoliation power, and the Sakari facial is in a more cream mask formula rather than the Ordinary one that's in a more dropper liquid form, but when it comes to results, they are so similar to each other. For $80 versus $8, you are saving 90% to get the same results."

"The Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Baby Facial, I like this a lot more than that viral The Ordinary red vampire facial mask that a lot of people think do, because this one is not as irritating. It has 25% AHA and a 2% BHA blend. You do it as a mask, so you clean your face, you tone it, you put on this mask, leave it on for 10 minutes, and then you wash it off. I do this once a week and it really does make my skin feel really, really smooth, like a baby's bottom. I can definitely feel the results very instantly."
