What the gurus are saying

The gurus who tried it found a well-formulated exfoliant that works gently enough for those new to glycolic acids, though the payoff takes months of consistent use to rebuild collagen and smooth skin texture. The main split: some praised the results and formula, while others flagged the price (around $120) as steep compared to other AHA options. Anyone starting with chemical exfoliation may want to patch test first, and those with very sensitive skin should ease in slowly, since a few found it too strong for daily use.

"In here are the stars of the show: glycolic acid, lactic acid, tartaric acid, and salicylic acid. It is a 10% blend of those ingredients and the goal of this one is to exfoliate skin, leaving it soft and smooth over time. Glycolic acid is one of the miracle ingredients that can help rebuild collagen in skin as long as you set the proper pH and proper amount, typically 10%. It will help with collagen production and deepen your skin over time. You can't use it for one day and then expect results, it will take months, but over time glycolic acid, like ascorbic acid, helps build collagen deep down in skin. It also helps improve skin texture, pore size, and brighten skin. It's also got some other nice ingredients: raspberry extracts, salicylics, marula oil, and sodium hyaluronate."

"this is a Sephora post so kids in skincare purchases when do you refuse I had a 12-year-old girl try to buy the Drunk Elephant glycolic acid serum today this one which is too strong for me to use on a regular basis and she looked at me like I killed her dog because I wouldn't sell it to her thankfully I saw her and got her to remove it"
Best Ingredients to Build an Anti-Aging Skincare Routine - Ingredients to Boost Collagen in Skin
"This one's really expensive. A lot of people like absolutely like this product. I'm trying to finish it up, I've been working on it for quite some time now, but it's still overall a good product. Just for the price though, like, I don't know, it's 120 bucks now? It's ridiculous. If you're looking to add some good anti-aging into your skin, AHAs are a good way to go, and there's so many of them."

"Their TLC Framboos is a glycolic serum definitely suited for an evening skin care routine for gentle exfoliation. I actually found it a little bit more gentle than the Dermik Sleep serum that I've been using. I highly recommend using this especially if you're a beginner to glycolic. I suspect that the glycolic percentage in this is fairly low, but definitely always patch test if you're using an exfoliating serum for the first time."
