What the gurus are saying

Shrinkflation concerns cast a shadow on an otherwise consistently praised lip balm. The fragrance-free formula and solid performance earn consistent praise from reviewers, though questions did arise about whether the container size had gotten smaller over time. Overall, the balm earns solid praise for its feel and performance, with reviewers reporting no other meaningful complaints on texture, wear, or durability.

"I found this when I was doing my organizing and I went to finish it up and actually I might be able to get like one more little fingernail in there to get like one more use worth, but yeah so nice lip balm."

"This one's pretty small but it's the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm, it's 18 bucks, it's a nice fragrance-free lip balm. I kind of wonder if they've shrunken it though, maybe a little bit. I just don't ever remember being that [...] small. I don't know, I'm wondering shrinkflation."

"It's applied to lips as a sheer lip balm but maybe used under or around the delicate eye area to hydrate and smooth crow's feet. I actually agree this would be a great product to use around the eyes especially for the thinner skin and to give you that bit of hydration particularly when ladies complain of like little makeup lines in this area. This is a great product that you can put underneath your makeup."

"The Drunk Elephant lip balm, which I think is called F-Bomb, is good. [...] It's got good ingredients in it, but it's not as hydrating in my opinion as even the CeraVe Healing Ointment. It's good if you like something that's a little bit less petrolatum based."
